Am I doing this right?

Title says it all. This is my first grow and I've never even seen a flowering plant before, so I'm not sure how it's going haha. Do you guys see anything glaring that I could be doing better? Ive gone a little LST crazy. Probably should have just done a scrog since that's what the plant looks like now anyway but hey at least all that time lsting kept me from fucking with the plant other ways too much right? Lol

PS. 2 things... I believe I'm on week 4 of flower but I didn't record when I started cause I'm an idiot. Second, the last pic looks different because the white balance filter is fucking up the autofocus on my phone and won't do macro. However the color is actually closer to accurate in the yellow pic. It's under a 100w warm white cob

That second to last pic is pretty cool. How did ya go bout lst it
Dude, I feel like its been SUPER effective, but I also clearly see why no one does it. I've pruned the leaves that don't get light pretty aggressively. The COB light doesn't seem to diffuse much at all, so its easy to tell when leaves aren't getting enough cause they look pretty sad and curled. But anyways, the general idea was that after topping, I used the pipe cleaners to shape the 8 biggest stalks on the plant so they spread out evenly from the center. Then, as more tips grew off the main branches, I tied them over slightly to the side so that light could still hit the small bud sites growing on the main stems.
Don't let me undersell how ocd i am tho. I've spent so many hours training this thing, mostly cause its the first plant and I don't have much else to do lmao.
Basically, I just treated the 8 main stems as priority light-wise. Anything blocked by them was axed.

Oh yeah, and the string i'm using along side the pipe cleaners is that stretchy soft beading string us ravers use to make candi.
The pipecleaners are just wrapped around a piece of velcro which sticks to the fabric. In general, the soft string is not strong enough to hold down big stems without damaging the plant, so I use it to hold down the secondary shoots off the main stems which are super flexy and don't grow fast. Then I use the pipe cleaners for the stronger growth because they are stronger and easier to adjust.

Really I guess I'm just a little concerned that the buds are still not very bulky yet. Is this fairly normal for about halfway through flowering? Is it going to put on bud growth faster as it gets on into the last week's?

You did say 100w light right? Figure about .5 g per watt on a huge yielding strain with the equation of 150w per sq ft, so .5 x .66=.33x100=33grams wet?

Not much of a math guy so let me know if I was close at harvest lol

Are you counting from the day u switched or from real flowers? Looks good to me
Looking through my camera phone and checking dates, it appears that the day I switched it to 12/12 was on Feb 8. and the first buds started appearing around the 17th.
So I guess it has really only been forming flowers for about 2 weeks. Wow that makes my mind easier, I was thinking it was much longer. Pardon a dry stoner's paranoia and poor sense of time.

Flowering is from the day you flipped 12/12. Sick of seeing so many people giving advice that its from when you see flowers, so don't listen to them.

And I anyone doesn't believe me, email some seed banks and they will tell you the same thing.

If you don't count first day of 12/12 as first day of flower and choose to run the strain again how would you know if the flower time increased or decreased based on length of veg time? You absolutely have to count day one or your notes will suck(says anal retentive notes guy)

Don't tease me. Im not sure how the light from these cobs will translate into yeild. I've heard people say to assume 1g per watt under ideal conditions with a high producing strain. Makes sense due to the directional nature of a cob and that it's light is concentrated in a conical pattern rather than a 360 degree spheroid pattern. It should be very intense light in a smaller area. I'm hoping that coupling this characteristic of these lights with this training tailored Specifically to the light output area, will ramp up yeild a bit. I am shooting for 3 ounces wet. But that might be a pipe dream.
