Hey guys. I just finished drying my buds for 5 days in my closet. The buds are nice and crisp and they dont smell bad so i figured they are done. They are all off the stem now and ready. How much bud should I put into each mason jar?

Thanks.

IMO, you should have left the buds pictured on the stems for curing. The jarring to finish a cure depends on slowly dehydrating the product until 15-20% humidity remains, which mostly comes from the stix.
Here's that? "bag appeal" link?

I didnt know I was supposed to leave them on the stem. Is it really important that the stem stays on? And the stems do snap when i break them.

I don't use the "snap" method.
In curing, leaving a stem attached would evenly distribute the moisture retained in the final product.
No one I know bothers with this with the small pop-corn buds, which are often dried separately on a screen.

I would fill the mason jars loosely, what kind are they, the half gallon wide mouth, are the pint? Eather way you fill the jar do it loosly. Because you wont to open and close durring curring. It a big hassel to empty and replace.
