Sounds like hes not a good curer.

Curing has nothing to do with growing... it is its own monster!
Yes I know! I told him that his work wasn't finished at harvest point. If I uploaded his pics (which I get way too often) you would agree that he's not bad but he refuses to study!?
He does certain things I tell him like buying new his bulbs but his environment is like a hurricane and his drying is a sweat box!

Ps my hydro is dropping to 4.8 in the 4th week! I just changed the tank to 5.5. Any ideas? I think it is asking for PK

Your ppm might be too high. Try dropping it a bit.

If that doesnt work, bubble your nutrient might in an external res for 24-48 hours. Ph flux should be over by then amd you can ph your water right before res change (after swing)

Set your pH higher to allow for the swing... I set mine at 6.2 in a week it will drop to 5.5... its better to be high then low... In organics I finish the plants 6.8 to 7... allows better uptake cal and mag... drooping leaves can also be from high water or room temps..

6 weeks of veg? That how long I veg my tree's for..... wtf?
I don't veg them, usually they go on 12:12 at 14-20 cm with 9-12 plants in a sq m. This is happening after 4 weeks of 12:12.
Canna Aqua advise the range 5.2-6.2. When I tank change I set it to 5.2 as they advise and it rises upwards to 6.1. Then it starts dropping dramatically!!
Weird??

Maybe raising from silica, but that is weird, and silica will not mix with other nutes.. probably some weird pH buffer.. I'd say switch companies.. I've used most American brands, so far my favorite is Botanicare Kind... never had nutes raise on their own.. Always drop.. Do you use Reverse osmosis?

Doing this takes 16 days of growth away from you on an 8 week flowerer. (Given yoi water once a week, 2 days for ph to level) Nutrient uptake will be hindered until the swing takes place.... which is why I recommend bubbling your solution before hand.

Wait are you talking about soil or hydro? She is asking about hydro and how on earth would you lose 16 days of growth? 6.2 even in hydro is completely acceptable

I think it depends on which company you use. I like to check out the website for extra info.

Ive got reverse osmosis but I don't use it as the tap water is 0.3EC.

I like my ph range to swing for uptake of nutes, ec goes down at the same time.

21 days for clones is enough!!!! 10 days to root and then another week to 10 for them to root in soil pots from jiffys. That's why he's takin the piss, he wants veg plants !!! Not rooted clones.

And fuck Canna, when I use to run a hydro shop I tried to get their products. And the bastards told me I had to purchase $10,000 of their products to even get a contract. Fuck that noise.. If I can't get it through hydrofarm or Sunlight supply there is a good reason why.. Imo canna, Dutch pro and H&G are all over priced crap 20 year old formulas with fancy marketing...

I've been increasingly bothered recently by a mate who wants clones every 2 months. It's not a huge order but I hate taking them on the bus. There was a day that I'd just jump on my bike and go with them but not anymore as its too risky. I'd rather get caught with a few oz than clones.

Logistically I don't have the space as he wants them vegged up as much as possible. (Am I selling rooted clones or veg plants?) Tonight he tried to give me an order for 6 weeks time!! I don't want them laying around for 6 bloody weeks. He tries to get out of collecting them because he is S.Amercian and doesn't have papers to be here. He already got deported from London years ago! Not my problem though is it?

I've told him that I've just cut those mums (his pheno choice) and I need them all for me as I've have too many lights running continually. This is true though.

In a way I feel ungrateful for refusing the work but it's only 25 clones which I will receive numerous messages about over the coming weeks, so to me it's not worth the stress.

He wants advice all the God damn time and doesn't ever listen. Eg. I drop the clones on Sunday and tell him to transplant straight away and he goes out skateboarding (age 36) instead. I'll get a message a few days later saying they don't look too good?? To which I reply 'my work ended when I dropped them off, I can't help you if you don't listen'.
I just don't want an apprentice. Had he been one I'd have sacked him on a few occasions.

So, I feel like a bitch but I think I should just concentrate on my own show.
Raise your prices. Include a nice PIA markup. Like 100%! Dude don't like it he steps off to another source.

Well canna does use a pH buffer that's why its raising on you. Then once the buffer depletes it drops suddenly.. And in America we use chloramine because it's more stable then chlorine.. I'm not sure about Spain. Really I'm not a hydro buff, I am big on soil now a days.. Which in organics RO is a must..

I'm looking for bio hydro nutes. I was rec'd GHE I think? It's 3 part but again a commercial brand. ???

General Hydroponics is the leader here, but that doesn't mean better.. their formula is over 20 years old, a lot has changed over 20 years... a lot of people here use the lucas formula which is GH without the grow.. Don't get me wrong any nutes will work. But bang for buck, I'd go with GH... GH's flora nova worked pretty good for me but it gets a bad reputation for the urea derived nitrogen. And it clogs up and become a nasty clay ball of shit in the bottle.. Botanicare is hands down my favorite bottled nutrient for hydro.. The only problem really with GH is salt build up but that's the case of any clean bottle nutes.

Her ph is dropping to 4.8

Which means she would need to water at 7.2ph to swing back to 6... which is too high.

Have you tried canna? Or did you build your opinion on their business practice?

I know they are very selective with their distributors and will not sell to 2 stores less than 50 miles apart.

The nutrients themselves are top notch... just really spendy.

I use nectar for the gods which is probably the most expensive line that I've ever seen. It cost me close to $400 per 14K run.. Yeah I've used them but not extensively. I used cannazyme for years... I have a good friend that swears by them, only his pot sucks ass. Probably his fault though.. like I said any nutes will do. But from a business aspect I will have nothing to do with them. The guys are dicks.. I chose NFTG because Scott is the shit! You email him and he will email you back the same day... I can make my own nutrients if I wanted, but I am a lazy stoner.. But nothing bad to say about Canna other then they are dicks and expensive

It's all Canna here! I think they have a factory in Spain. Every hydro shop has it but we have loads of makes here. Atami is popular but too expensive for me as I buy 10 liters at a time of A and B.
