I went to lowes and saw a 10x10 piece of aluminum and thought it would be a good reflective wall? Anyone know different?

A piece of mylar (like a disposable emergency blanket) stapled to plywood is better and a hell of a lot cheaper.

mylar, I saw the actual results of a scientific research , unfortunately I never saved it. (Flat) white paint out performs both aluminum foil and mirrors :o

A very inexpensive form of Mylar is the reverse side of "foil wrapping paper."
You don't want the X-mas theme facing your plants. The shiny side is a very good reflector and doesn't burn spots unlike foil.
Dollar Store for the low low.

I got one even cheaper. I use old potato chip bags split open and cleaned off of course.
(and the potato chips make great munchies BTW, LOL)
