I read in someones Journal how they touched the leaves of their plants and could smell them. Prob a scriber here so sorry I forgot who that was lol.
Anyway I'm sitting in my OP and decided to see if that was true for me as well.

I brushed very gently a leaf between my index finger and thumb and smelled my fingers.
Man what a smell!
so I did a different plant
A VERY different smell.
I did this with all of them and only 2 smelled alike so if thats an indication
I did well picking seeds that were different from each other.
One plant in particular (#5 that had the "praying" leaves) had a very strong and foul smelling odor.
Like barf or something.
Who knows? kinda smelled good non the less LMAO

I'm not sure it didn't work, not sure it did.
What I do know is they are growing well, every new node is right on top of the last and thats what I want right now.
The actual "stretch" toward the light has stopped.
I did the hormone and moved them to the 400W light at almost the same time.
It is just hard to say which change stopped the reaching they seemed to be doing.
I am glad I did it, it has not caused any harm, and I had root powder to clone some Basil so its all good.
Thanks for the tip BTW gave rep :)

Remember #6 and #7 are about 3 days behind the pack and were probably slowed by the transplant)
#5 is showing different traits, longer thinner leaves, as well as the leaves are still praying but not as much as before.
#1 has darker tones especially at the edges of its leaves, almost a purple tint in places.
#3 Is still showing strongest growth rate, and is clearly on its 3rd growth node. May be first five leaf set.
Others are about even.

Buddy came through with a small bag of poor weed but its something
Now I can go in the op and get high with the kids

Yes they like it and are growing well
I talk a little about the different strains I am growing here
And so from that you can tell I don't know what I have going lol.
But it limits the possibilities some.
One plant has Sativa looking first leaves but the rest are fattys and look Indica dominant to me.

Notes:
On number two there are some burn spots from beaded water.
(see inset on photo) I know what they are because I said to myself,
"I bet those beads of water there, will burn that leaf"
and they did.
Everyone else is looking swell though so I doubt it could be anything else.
PH went up a little during the day yesterday and so I added some PH down to the res last night.
It is still creeping up slightly every day and I am glad I decided to do weekly res changes.
Covered the makeshift Res with black duct tape to cut down on the possibility of algae.
Thats about all for toady
3 new meters (Temp/Humidity-PH-TDS) should be here this week
so next month and subsequent months (and subsequent grows) will be more accurate.
Happy Growing:leaf:

oh man alto, those things are progressing quickly! Quick question...whats the npk of the nutes you are using?
I didn't think you were supposed to use any nutes for the first 3 weeks, just balanced pH water.

Nutrient Solution:2 GAL.
10.0ML Flora Nova GROW™
2.0ML Floralicious Plus™
30.0ML FLORABLEND ™Vegan Compost Tea

Nutrient Solution:2 GAL.
10.0ML Flora Nova GROW™
2.0ML Floralicious Plus™
30.0ML FLORABLEND ™Vegan Compost Tea
Flora Nova GROW™ 7-4-10
Floralicious Plus™ 2-0.8-0.02
FLORABLEND™ Vegan Compost Tea Not specified but a lots of micronutrients :o
Thats what I read too (no nutes for seedlings) But I went ahead and just followed their feeding schedule and charts and so small amounts at first but getting heavy next week so I have to watch for burn and keep some pre mixed for every other topping off.

Flora Nova GROW™-Is the base nutrient and increases in time as plant develops helps veg
Flora Nova BLOOM™- Will take over on week six or so depending and start of with a 50/50 week in transition. Thats 4-8-7
Floralicious Plus™-Is an enhancement supplement and will stay at this strength until flush (added sugars)
FLORABLEND ™ - another supplement that provides organics and more micro nutrients (roots development and care) ween off at transition to flower.
I will use their flush FloraKleen as well at the end and plain water last.
So we will see if their line of stuff is any good or not I guess
Should start drinking it up pretty soon :weed:
I just can't wait until my PH and PPM meters get here so I'm sure I am giving the recommended dosages
even if there is no burn, I may not be giving enough... I do use a 10ml syringe to meter out the nutes and additives

Made the changeover nute solution for Friday this morning.
I am completely balancing it this time to be sure before putting in res.
I will have meters before I change.
Want to keep a close eye on the PPM while I increase amount of nutrients.
Trying to get a very balanced res so I can just top off the next two weeks.

I have been puzzling this out in my head some lately and am thinking about
one of the bio type for my little space.
Sugar and yeast? CO2Boost? other home made?
What are any opinion about these "bio" type Co2 systems?
I certainly don't want to get into a tank because of cost
Tho maybe someday???
I am thinking about this type
They have them at my local hydro and online.
any one ever use these things?

By what I figure, looking at how long a single tub lasts, I could start one now
and just about when I would want to shut it off, it would run out.
