ok so heres the low down on my set up

i have 10 soil grown ice plants about a month old

started with 10 seeds from nirvana shop and germinated and planted them all in individual 5 gallon grow bags with pro mix soil, which containes i beleive lime for ph balancing a co op fungus for root stimulation and of course vermiculite ( sp ? ) and all the other goodies that come in genreric top soil ( no nutes pre added i dont think )

I have 2 400 watt MH lamps and a t5 flouresent with 6 bulbs in a
4 X 4 X 6 mylared grown tent I plan on vegging them for 3 more weeks till their around a foot and a half tall then sexing them killing the males and flowering all but 2 moving the flouresent and the 2 choosin mother plants to a new tent and continue to cut clones off of them every 2 weeks for my own SOG

here are all of my questions

1 ) if i cut clones off a soil plant can i plant them hydroponicly
2 ) once i have my clones cut and waited the 2 weeks with them in the fogger for the root ball to form how would i transfer them to their new medium
a ) soil do i just burry the root ball the best i can and a little of the stem for stability or should i just wait till i see the beginnings of roots and transfer the new clone dirrectly to soil and pour a little extra rooting hormone down the stem
( this will only be an issue if i cant grow hydro if i can i wont use soil )

b ) hydroponicly ( i have only grown hydro once and that was in this )
"Big 6" 6 Plant Hydroponic Grow system - eBay (item 250327606010 end time Nov-22-08 19:22:54 PST)

which worked out fine but i had the moss starter plugs as opossed to the rock wool. So how would i get a clone with roots already formed into one of these systems because i want to use 4 of these for my sog one for each section. so basicly should i even use a cloner and transfer it over or just get this system use the rock wool cubes instead of the soil plugs and insert the clones right into the rook wool cubes ( instead of a fogger cloner ) with the rooting hormone and nutrients and clone them right in the rock wool because i have talked with the guys at the local hydroponics store and they report extreamly high rates or survival on clones cloned only in a cube of rock wool so i wanted opinions on this as well

3 ) all of that aside I have maxi grow veg (10 5 14 ) and maxi bloom flower ( 5 15 14 ) both powders. they say viable for both soil and hydro applications and i have used them on both so no problems their. My question is has anyone else used these befor and if so would you have a feeding schedual handy for both soil and hydro applications because as a novice grower with out a PPM meter i litteraly shot in the dark for my first few grows which turned out fine but i did nute burn them once in hydro twice in soil but flushed it quick enough to not do to much damage, so i cut back alot on the nutes which im sure effected my over all yeild
so with these name brand seeds and fancy new set up i want to get it right and see if i can manage one of those 60 + gram kholas and to do that i need a proper feeding schedual

the back of each of the containers read

.25 grams for seedlings and cuttings ( no mystery their )

.5 grams for orchids / delicates

1 gram for most applications

1.25 grams for fast growing plants

1.5 grams for very fast growing plants ( use with caution )

for the first 4 weeks of their life in soil i used .25 grams in a gallon of water and split it between the 10 plants so each plant got 1/10 of a gallon of water and i fed them every other watering now im up to .5 grams but i really have no idea how much water i should be giving them it seems like the general feeling on the forum is keep the soil damp so basicly i would like to know how much water in gallons each plant should get and how often and how much food should i be putting in the water

for the hydro applicatin it is a little easyer because it's just mix, leave it and change the water every 2 weeks or so so i would only need the know how many grams per gallon durring their different stages of life

I know this is alot of info im asking for and im currently reading more into the forums now to try to find my own answers but any info you could give me would be great

And of course since the cultivation of cannabis is illeagle where i live this is clearly all the fictional ramblings of a mad man but any info would still be apreciated

i have no idea on hydrobreakdancer. wish i could help you. just have to be patient. alot of the experienced guys are still at work. give it a couple hours. i do disagree strongly with "keeping the soil damp" as far as watering goes. you should let the soil dry out between waterings or you run the risk of drowning them or causing mold in the root system. the roots need oxygen too and its alot more difficult to get oxygen if the roots are always damp. the top 2-3" should be very dry before you water again. water until a small amout leaks from the bottom of the pot. wait a minute or two, empty the drip tray and leave until the top layer of soil is dry again. good luck with all your other questions.

awsome thanks for the responce i will post a few things about the cloner i have i dont over water i have enough grow seasons under my belt not to drowned them but i am more clueless about the amount of nutrients to mix in at different stages i tried to give as much info as i could about what i have but if people need more let me know

there is no set watering schedule in soil. Let the soil completely dry and water until you have some runoff. Follow the feeding schedule for the nutes, if your plants burn then back off a bit.

i can't find the link for the video but its basicly a 3 gallon storage with 12 neoprin disk holders and a small fog machine inside with a little nute mixture the fog is good for penetrating the small root balls and it keeps the rooting hormone from washing off but unfortunately its no good for bigger plants the fog can't penetrate deep enough or carry enough nutes

i dont have a feeding schedual yet though i was hoping to aquire one from some of you guys who are already making huge kholas

bump so no one has a set feeding schedual with these nutes or anything close to them is it really just trial and error because i dont want to mess these up i have my 5 jack herrer plants going as well but their 2 weeks behind and im looking to cross breed the ice and jack and call it jack on the rocks if it turns out properly but I basicly dont want to nute burn them and f this up. I have had 4 successfull harvests ( all indoor ) in the past 2 years, each a little better as i bought more of the set up and now better genetics but nothing compared to some of the Crazy Kholas i have seen posted here my biggest khola to date wet was 31 grams around 18 dry which is by no means meak but in no way close to some of the HUGE ones i see. and from what i can tell i have all the right equipment ( i might need different nutes ) I just need to figure out how their feeding the plants

Damn I sure would like some Jack herr clones to work with LOL i have no XP in herrer srry. guessing it is like a setiva dominate plant roots will grow fast meaning you will need to nute every other watering and flush soil 1-2 months unless budding. hope ur not budding and just vegging and cloning too good of a strain to bud and kill.

im already planning on taking the 1-2 strongest ice and jack plants to set aside to clone and SOG the hell out of and flower the rest of the females right away so i will have one huge harvest folowed by nice sized ones every 2 weeks. I am also planning to take a 1 male jack and a 1 male ice killing the other males if their are any and harvesting the polin. then polinating the strongest female ( 2nd strongest the strongest are being kept veg for cloning ) of the oposite type in the last 3 or so weeks of flowering to achieve a large number of seed then begins the long process of planting 10-20 of each and finding a good mother plant thus Creating Jack on the rocks

theirs a solid answer thank you poke that was the other question i wanted answered as well thank you. so it is possible to clone dirrectly in the cubes then move the cubes into the net pots and suround them with hydroton thats awsome so hydro SOG it is now i need to figure out nute levels for the resivoirs how ever thats alot easyer to calc because theirs alot more info on it but it would still be nice to have someone post the answer but im not that lazy just a stoner

Next time sprout in jiffy plugs, transplant to plastic party cups.Feed them miracle grow"liquid houseplant food".When they reach 4inches in height give them 12/12 light schedule, they should show their sex in a week.transplant to 1-3 gallon pot with a dose of superthrive added to her nutes.Continue to 18/6 schedule. This is always successful when I grow with "regular" seeds .

Or, you could never, ever use Miracle Grow! Why the hell would you tell somebody who has the means to do his shit the right way, to do that.

thats a strange answer, to do things worse then i already am, but i dont need the specifics on the lights i have that down like i said i have had successfull harvests i own a decent set up and i have name brand seeds unfortunately i had to post in the newbie forum because it was the only place i got answered. my 10 ice plants are already 1 month old and my 5 jack herrer are 2 weeks all are in their large grow containers right off the bat because i dont like transplanting or anything else i can avoid that might shock the plant

so the feeding scale i am looking for is more if i have a hydro SOG and i am using the general hydroponics maxibloom 5-15-14 how many grams per gallon of water would i use for the first 2 weeks ( i would assume the .25 grams for seedlings and cuttings for the first week ? ) the 2nd 2 weeks the 3rd and the final 2 weeks is just water and black strap molasses. note that i dont own a PPM meter but it seems like that would be an easy way to answer this question for my self but its expensive. I have seen people pos tthe ppm they use at different stages keeping it around 1000 for the most part

so i need to know the grams per gallon of water for the nute for the 2nd week to the 6th week first being

so filling in these blanks with either PPM or grams per gallon would be awsome

week 1 0.25 grams per gallon for seedlings and cuttings ( self explanitory )
week 2 ?
week 3 ?
week 4 ?
week 5 ?
week 6 ?
week 7 no nutes only black strap mollases
week 8 no nutes only black strap mollases

i dont need to know the veging nutes because i am SOG ing it so the only plants that will really ever be in veg are my mommas
