Germinated 1x Super Sour OG (fem) from Emerald Triangle Seeds, using the water cup method. Cracked in 24 hours let soak another 24 hours then planted today in a fiber pellet. Once the seedling breaks ground i'm going to place her in a small hempy pot with a 3:1 ratio perlite/vermiculite until she's big enough for her final pot which will be a 2.5g bucket. Update as soon as my baby breaks ground. :leaf:

Alright, so my baby broke ground yesterday night and here's some pictures of what she looks like this morning. I put her in her temporary pot which turn'd out to be a large jack in the box cup which should be a good home till her transplant. 3:1 ration perlite/vermiculite under my 150w hps. I'll be watering with plain water for the first weeks of vegetative growth. Update as soon as i see some true leaves.

Update, filled my bucket to the top now that the seed stretched and needed a little support. Things are going smooth watering with plain water every two day's or so when the cup feels light. Nothing much to report till my girl gets a little taller.

Medium:
Miracle Grow Perlite
NK Lawn & Garden Vermiculite

Nutes:
Plain Water

Ive used the MG perite before and I didnt know it has nutes in it. Do we know if they are just coated in nutes or are they made with the nutes? Im assuming you have no problem using it and I trust your judgement, Im just wondering your take on it.

The bag says its been enriched in nutrients so i don't know if thats soaking them or coating them but the ratios for whats in it is very little. heres the ratios in the perlite 0.04-0.01-0.06 N-P-K obliviously that's no ratio to worry about in my opioion.

Haven't had any problems so far, and im not feeding any nutes yet just plain water for about another week. I don't push my luck with my seedling's so i don't feed to early.

OK so whens the first sign they need food? Bottom yellowing? Im doing a test with a very weak medium at the moment so Im asking all of these odd questions. Like I said, I trust your judgement so Im wondering how much you feed the younglings

well some people say to wait for signs of deficiency but i just wait two weeks since the seed breaks ground, then feed at the recommended dose of each fertilizer i use. so for my seedlings once this week is up ill be giving the plant 10ml fox farm grow big & 15ml fox farm big bloom up until i turn for flower which is the recommended dose at some point when your in full vegetative growth you can then bump up your veg nutes but if your worried about nute burn use half the strength at first then ease up to the recommended dose. hope this helps.

It does, Thank you. Your always a help and never an asshole. I so appreciate you dude. So Feeding them every water with the set nutes above will keep them fully happy all the way to flower? Maybe Im lost but I feel like they would eat more the and more the longer we fed them the same dose. But you are the expert. Please fill me in on how this works please

I'm by far from a expert that's for sure lol, but i know it would sound like a plant would need more but it doesn't vegetative stage is the easiest stage. Just feed the recommended doses above and you will be fine all the way to flower the grow big has trace elements so you don't have to worry about trace deficiency's. Example with the Grow Big, the recommended dose is 10ml/2tsp if you thought that would be to strong use 5ml/1tsp instead. then as your plant get's really big like we were talking about you can but you don't need to maybe if signs of nitrogen deficiency occur feed 15ml/3tsp grow big which is maximum dose.

Nothing much going on just waiting about another week to start feeding veg nutes. I lowered my light due to my plant stretching and now seems like my girls is trying to grow instead reach for the light. Can't wait to start the vegetative stage this girl in the end is going to be a fimm'd, topped, super cropped beast.

Started doing a little LST, for now instead of using string i just used a piece of scotch tape, looked like it was time to feed my baby so i gave her 10ml fox farm grow big to start her going if i notice any burning ill flush and go from there. Other then that things are slow rolling for the moment. Updates soon.

I tried pulling one of mine down with a bit of tape and it pulled the leaf off when it grew back toward the light, I suppose when they get a bit bigger you should use string?
