Aloe Vera in flower

Is it alright to use aloe in flower? I know it contains salicylic acid but to my knowledge it's good for root growth. I though it was good for trying to increase trichome production but I just read that salicylic acid doesn't help which actually contradicts a lot of products on the market that uses willow bark i.e. Bud factor x. I have a lot of aloe I know it's high sapponins but just curious if I can use it in flower and not just veg.

Are you talking about using it as a foliar spray or watering with it? I would not do any foliar spray in flowering. As far as watering with, I used to do it a couple times a grow, in both veg and flower. I quit using it though, due to aloe having antibacterial and anti fungal properties. That's been a question I have had for awhile now. Is watering with aloe harmful to organic soil?

Always been curious about aloe. The last Durban I looked at in a dispensary smelled exactly like Aloe Vera. Is there an aloe pheno of Durban Poison? Didn't risk it.

I would use it while fertilizing so watering it in. I foliar and fertigate in veg and it works well. Roots love it and the leaves pray with I apply it as a foliar.
