Almost there

These plants are almost ready to be harvested, at least half the hairs have turned red and i'm just waiting on the next 2-3 wks :weed:. This is with a 400w hps. The soil was mixed Blood/bone meal, organic potting soil, and worm castings. I used pure cane sugar all the way through flowering along with S&A 2part flower nut, and hydrogen Peroxide.

The first was topped the second wasn't

Second

And this one is the third in the rotation of 4 plants that i have going

what does co2 have to do with density i think ur light minght a little far away
Well co2 has everything to do with density and i only moved my light higher to get a better photo. I think this is an over average bud size for JUST a 400w personally

Nothing that I am aware of. Light has more to do with density than co2.
It's the atmosphere of the co2 that makes the plant grow more bunched then stretching out. It also minutly increases light strenght. Think of green house gases, mostly co2 along with a shit load of harmful chemicals but that's beside the point. light has alot to do with bud size but density is all about the co2 management. If you grow 4 plants under the same conditions, 2 haveing co2 pumped in, and not the other 2 . I promise the first 2 will be denser then the other 2.

Nice grow BTW! Although I thought it was the plants genetics that had the most to do with the buds density. The reason I think that is that Ive seen people grow diff. strains and even multiple plants of the same strain in the same exact setup, same light, same everything, and one plant will be denser than others.

thank you.
You are right it's the suddle diffences in each different plant, the soil ecosystem the exact spot where the plant is in a room, the cells of the plant them selfs have flaws that another will not, no one plant will turn out the same as another, the likely hood of that is pretty small. I'm damn certain that high co2 level increase the density(weight) of a crop. If we can get an experts opinion it would be appreciated:mrgreen:

You are a Expert in your own garden. Hands Down.
I am leaning towards going co2. It's another $800 to get going though, so I will wait a harvest or two. When I do I will grow one set of Mommies with out co2 and there clones I will grow with co2. Now we all know that clones will grow just like there Momma so I will no fer sure. None the less I dig what co2 has to offer, but there is a debate on forced co2 degrading thc, so that is another study I would like to do along with density.

Thank you

What do you mean by forced co2. if you run a car you are forcing co2 in the air, there by adding to all plant's atmosphere. if co2 is in high enough lvls i bet it would harm or maybe kill the plant. If kept controled would have a certain advantage that just light can't do. If you just through light at it it will get bigger buds depending on how many you have. I can't disagree with that lol. just saying it's a worth while investment in co2 systems. It will pay for it self, I'm working on buying a co2 tank now.
