Almighty Seeds "Fast and Furious"

Was neither fast nor furious. Buds still thin after 10 weeks, nowhere near done at 7 weeks like it's supposed to be. Buds get really long and stalky if there's any significant heat. Mine got close to the CFL's and the buds in that area were nothing but pieces of stalk with a few little flowers scattered along them, pathetic looking. I had picked out the one plant that was much shorter than all the others and it is still stretchy. Bottom line, not impressed at all. Not particularly potent or good smell or taste. Just nothing to recommend it for. There's a lot of crappy seeds around these days. People just crank them out to make money. I seriously think they just arbitrarily make up the descriptions, at least Amighty apparently does because there was no similarity whatsoever between the description and the actual plants.

Are you growing with only cfl's , if so you have to take that into consideration. Plants need a lot of light and lumens and cfl's just dnt cut it(unless u have equivalent to hid), though you can grow with success using cfl's dnt expect what they advertise(even in perfect conditions). Dnt get me wrong there are some hustlers out there selling crap , but unless your an expert or have attempted to grow your beans in close to perfect conditions you shouldnt write them off so easly no disrespect just keeping it 1000. Good Luck.

Happy Growing!

well that sucks to hear buddy, some breeders u might really enjoy are TGA, Gage Green, Mosca. id check them out

as far as the CFL thing, i've pulled over 4oz from plants with nothing but CFL. Granted i love my HPS, but before i had that, i made the CFLs work and you can too! ;)

Yup.

The thing is, with so many great breeders out there putting out top notch genetics with excellent reputation, there really is no reason to take a chance with some "hot" new strain from a second or third tier seedhouse. What's the point?

Growing even one plant to completion takes 2-3 months, another month for drying/curing, and hours of your time and energy.

If you're going to the trouble, you might as well start with something you know is tried and true. There is no shortage of really excellent strains, and bluntly the strains from 10-20 years ago that were great then are still great now.

I get the idea of trying new things, but rather than jumping on this weeks bandwagon, you'd literally be better off starting with some 20 year "classic" strain like skunk or northern lights, because at least you KNOW you'll have an easy time growing it and end up with something excellent.
