King gave some good advice, any how you're plants are looking good Allister. Nice setup +rep :)
Thanks and welcome Millyy! I just started to really get the grow room dialed in temp and fan wise, so I am hoping to make these poor abused little girls happy now. Almost one week into 12/12 and I am happy to report here for the first time that BS1 does indeed seem to be a female. Still waiting on word from BS 2. The girlfriend wanted to give her a "girly" name and chose Prissy.... so there ya have it. I now have a plant called "Prissy"

Weekly pic are upcoming! Unfortunately, it will be the last you will be seeing of BS2, as the little bushy stick started growing balls and will have to be dealt with.... :(
Upside is that I can now maximize the lights that I have on "Prissy", who has started sprouting more white hairs. She is stretching a lil more than I would like, so I am hoping that in the coming weeks, she will fill it in around the stem a bit.
I will try to get the pics I took Monday up tonight!

Ok... here are the Monday pics, finally making it in here!

The first and third pics are of BS 1 who turned out to be female. The stick/bush BS 2 started to grow balls and was chopped today and dismantled to take a look at root growth, soil conditions and moisture levels etc. Too bad too, I would have liked to see what it would turn out like! So I have optimized the area for one plant and now should be able to give it light from all angles to hopefully encourage some of the under branches to give me some nice presents too!

And for a Monday update.... I know, I have missed a couple. Been extremely busy at work and in life in general!! Anyway, here she is, about 3 weeks into flowering. Starting to get some nice little bud clusters. I have continued feeding her Smoke N Grow 1-2-3 nutes with each watering and she seems to be really liking it. The development is a bit slow on this girl, but I am willing to wait her out just to see how it turns out! Considering that it was bagseed, I am just interested to see what it will turn out like when it is all said and done!

Hi all! Noob here who has decided to give an indoor CFL grow a shot. I am still in the process of getting everything I need to give it a go. I am going to be ready to drop seeds and start germ on some bagseed in the next day or so. I am using a small shower stall for my room, and still need to get mylar up on the glass enclosure. (See Pics)
I am also actively searching for someplace local where I can find the higher wattage CFL bulbs in the 65K-67K temp. Currently I have 2 63 watt and 10 26 watt bulbs, but they are all in the 2700K temp. Like the noob I am, I thought that the lower number would be the cooler temp spectrum.... Oh well, live and learn.
So, I have a few questions right off of the bat. Does anyone know of a large chain store where I can find larger watt (at least 40, preferably bigger) bulbs in the right temp? Also, I have a soil question. I am planning on going with FFOG and perlite... what would be a good ratio on the two?
Any other advice would be gratefully accepted too as I want to get a decent experience on this first grow and I realize the best way to do that is to listen to those who have done it before me!
Thanks in advance for all of those who help out, and for those that already have!
my first advice would be to prep your soil with actino iron or great white, both good products, especially the great white, beneficial bacteria, then add to your schedule,in your nut program, about every two -three weeks, and add a suffacnt to your water,do your self a favor and spend the money for a r.o.system,your plants will love you for it. btw ,nice pict for your profile!!!
