today was day 61 of flower, ive been flushing since friday past, next monday im chopping, after spending a fair bit of time reading on here, ive decided im not going to hang around waiting for amber trich's to appear, im anticipating they will by the time i chop.

Im quite looking forwards to a good dry and cure, leading to a lovely smoke.

Whos going to tell me im doing it all wrong and in a rush ?

Its a white widow , grown from a seed that came from my previous grow...

do whatever you like; just let us know how it turns out, would be interesting to see if there's more myths in the growing heads of the community.

well, i know shes knocking on the door of week 9 , and will be half way into week 9 by the time i chop, and ive read that trichome development continues for a lil while after chopping anyway, one guy on here grows ww and has done for a long time, he always chops on day 60, i dont suppose for a second it will be a bad smoke, and ive also got some ak47 auto i need to get started, so by the time im into the WW, the ak should be over half way anyway :)

ill update in due course .:peace:

yeah some people like the more head high from an early harvest, most people like to wait til amber so they get "max" weight and more of a body high. do what you do, i like to harvest half early and the rest whenever they are almost all amber. its interesting but its all personal preference i believe :bigjoint:

I think you'd better stop feeding it anyway you're gonna be smoking all the nutes! flushing helps but that's not enough to me, flush it and stop nuting 10 tu 15 days before harvest

You could go at least 2 weeks in flushing-water only feds. I've done 30 but wouldn't go over 21.

I chop at 5-10% amber on most strains. As long as you have mostly cloudy you'll have some great bud. I've pushed plants to 50% and more amber, nothing special for potency and there is no more yield that late in flower. Maybe more resin but an extra week once past strain's average end flowering time rarely bring more yield if ever.

Although being it's a little more sativa in it's dna it is suggested you go over normal times and have some amber.
