could HLG-185H-42A (42v / 4.4a) driver run 2 vero29 v2.0 4k in parralel ? if yes is it enought for 2x2 tent and at what height should i hold it with lets say 90 degress lenses or is it better without them ?

Yes it could, your PPFD would rougly end up in the 800s, which is ok. However, when running in parallel I would always consider a cob failure. In your case, running only two Chips, a cob failure on one chip would most likely fry the other one in no time. Of course, this depends on your cooling situation, but you'd rather spend money on that one or two additional cobs than on expensive failsafe heatsinks. Same goes for lenses that tighten the already quite intense beam and make it hard to avoid hot spots.

so it should be about 16 /17 PAR W/ft² . how far should i hold them from my plants. and how far should one cob be from another ? like 1 feet ? and i5 cpu heatsink + cooler per cob would be enought for cooling them ?

edit: i think i5 cpu heatsink with fan on is enough because i did some maths, if im right and cob efficiency is about nearby 40% , lets say 38% and cob consumes about 80w of power..
0.8*38=30.4
80-30.4=49.6w heat
and i5 haswell cpus heatsink covers 84w cpu tdp (maximum amount of heat generated by the CPU) . so im fine with that heatsink.

That is correct, but if one cob fails you have 4.4 Ampere on the second cob, which exceeds the max driving current. That cob would then have around 180 watt of input. With an efficiency of .31 it will produce 125 watt of heat!

...maybe inside pic of control box to show the conections...

...why not thermoretractable tube or heat-shrink tube for the red-black wires?...

...not corrected the auxiliary connector yet?... ...maybe protections for fans blades only to posible pass security test norms too... (on the house you can go off with them...but its own decission of propietary...)

....i know Wilson i know... ...im back to cavern right now...:fire:

pd......my eco voice....on another hand ... i hope future sellers buy a good par meter (measures en umols/s and ppfd) and a good true power meter too (measures on ac side) ... and maybe a TRUE RMS multimeter (measures on dc side)... thermocouples meter (i saw a model of sds recomendation to robincnn)... ...and maybe can do the actual maths with par w and heat watts and ppfd values (eh i know you can do it)... but you know GG... when they are on the comercial side.. normally my opinion ends on the trash...

....but i try to help with my inexpert and special pov... ...im too poor...

AC/DC- it's a long way to the top (if you want to rock and roll)

...seems to me you said ...changes next week... ...ok i wait... in the chozo off course...

pd... i saw your new auxiliar connector... bingo... well corrected... i dont wait no moore... ...i prefer wago and wago winsta connector... trying to put the best on my "dreams"... but on future you must do the changes on security lot of moore quickly... the reparation time counts too... reparation time for this issue... i must count days? ... weeks?... or month?... guod inform you on xx date... count yourself... the old europeam team disapear are the best betatester on distance ever... ...but you know these...

...Guod mission completed... im back to the base center... ...te invito a unas "garimbas" en el chiringuito de playa y unos pinchos de tortilla española...;)

...Wilson i tried... but i told you ...its time wasted for me... maybe pay attention to others opinions... the mine are in the trash... ...time to back to "chozo" i need some drink... ...to forget... night train... cheers and bye...

Heat-shrink tubing is used throughout the design but only where it matters most; having entirely stiff, heat-shrink-tubed wires would make most, if not all. of the mobility functions impossible, not to mention would add to the total build cost.

The fans are ran at 5V, which really should beg one to ask what we're trying to protect ourselves from (unless of course you have your nails coated with acrylics). They're being ran in the photograph but are slow enough for the camera to take a still snapshot.

Here's a photo of the daisy chaining in action between a V6 &V10

consider using two conductor wire
like this R/B

or jacketed
https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/power-wires/white-pvc-jacketed-ul-type-cl2-18-awg-power-wire-/1074/2562/

if flexibility is important use silicone insulated wire for your movable units.

Thank you for the your input, PurpleBuz, but I don't see where it would come in handy as most of the wires are tucked inside, with the Molex cables being the way they are and the fan wires already being covered.

Edit: That silicone tubing looks rad! I may have to grab me some to try out!

...yes PB... ...i prefer jacketed style too ...if i can i use ethernet cables types CAT 5 or sup or similar... ...maybe on comercial lamps are too expensives ... but for my pov helps on electric noise... if use arduino or similar way...;)

...Wilson...back to the chozo...

:peace:

Saludos

A bit mesh over the fan would stop anything falling in. OR put a note on saying
"if than fan stops, the cobs burn"

I think your doing a good job dude, don't pay too much attention, people will always find fault no matter what you do!

...good people try to advertise these faults... and give solutions too...

...the criticism for criticism arent my way and others bros here...

...i dont fall in hater club... ...sometimes "critics" are full constructive ways...

...but seems to me...again... my opinion dont count for some persons...

...me myself and i try to help not to hate...

...hate its the worst wasted time... generaly i prefer waste my time on show my crazy ideas and help too...when i can... or like...

...if you see my "critics" on the hate side ...change your glases color... im not in the hate side...

...but again seems to me... my opinion are on the trash again...

pd ...ok ok you only see my "critics" ...and nothing about good opinion about the lamps... correct... its for personal reasons only ... ap knows why...

...but in my critics there not bad personal reasons... ap knows that too or i hope... actually i dont mind...

...from my pov.. i do it wright... on my own way...

...and stay on calm bro... no more "critics" on public about ap lamps from me... ...nobody pay me for that.. and i pefer wasted my time on DIY side...generally...

...my last guod "mission" its completed ..im go on others things.. bye...
