All the way up

Got a couple HLG 260W lights, was just wondering if most of you guys run with the driver turned all the way up or if its better to run these at a lower wattage. Thinking in terms of longevity and efficiency I assume it would be better to stay at 80% or so, but i'm wondering if there is an ideal % to run at or if it doesn't matter that much at all.

Its more about how cool they stay in terms of longevity and efficiency.
You can run them full blast as long as they stay cool. A fan blowing down on the heat sink will make a big difference in temps

On the 480w QB fixture I use, I keep it at 20" above canopy and run from 50% power during veg to 100% power during transition.
I also have a small clip fan blowing on the back of the fixture-makes a huge difference in board temps.

I added the fan and it made a huge difference, I have the light turned all the way up now and the heatsink and driver are significantly cooler. The fan only pulls 10 watts on low but I still put it on the same timer as the light.

Not a lot of info out there suggesting to point a fan at these lights, thanks guys
