All That Glitters isn't Gold

I'm wondering if my ladies might be done.

I'd still need to flush the rez for a week or 2.
I'm on week 7.5 I put'm into flower on nov 13th. I'm growing in stealth hydro's bubbleponics kit with CFL's.

Just hoping i could get some advice on if they're ready or not. Also, is there any way of determining how massive the buds will be before it's time? I'm asking cuz they're smaller and fewer than I had hoped.
There's 6 plants in a 6 gallon rez and they're about 3 feet tall

I'm not sure since I'm waiting for my first to finish flowering (put them in last week), but I believe most people harvest depending on the color of their trichs and on what kind of high they want. Lots of gold for real heavy couch high and fewer for more soaring high. in my own personal case I'm going to try to flush mine when about 40% of the trichs are gold. But I'm sure someone with some actual harvest experience can tell you better.

is there any way to tell if the trichomes are done without a 30x scope? I've just dumped all my cash into the grow and ya know like, food and rent. I took those pictures with a good camera and tried to zoom in as much as possible but yeah...

also, anyone got any pictures for reference of what the trichs should look like?

It would certainly help to see them and something is better than nothing. Found this Link should help.

No they dont look done yet.........looks like 2-4 weeks left.......you don't want to flush that long either...you will deprive your plants of vital nutrients.....which will impact your yield,3-7 days is suffice(hydroponics)...the only time I flush for a week is if the plant(s) have been overdosed with nutrients....there definitely is no way of knowing how much you buds will plump up but they will bulk up some in these next couple weeks...

That's what we have. It's not top of the line but it will do the trich. Get it? Hurr. Sorry dude, it was right there, I had to take it.
OK bad puns aside, yes, that will work. The Spouse seems to think that the most expensive is the one to get. That's a good way of thinking if you're rich.

well thanks a lot everybody for the help. I've been using thes pre-mixed powdered nute packets and i have one left that I'm going to use maybe tomorrow and then flush a week later with just water and hope they're good. The trichs on at least 1/3 of the colas have an amber tone right now so i'm assuming they're damn close to finished.
