What you use for heat in winter?
i have a small space heater and a vent i added in the heating duct running through my room.plus it dosent get colder than 65 down there with out heat with temps at 0 outside.there below the freeze line and have dirt floor with some old carpet down for insulated layed between dirt froor and my grow bags.and in the summer it stays pretty cool down there too.

plus the 1000 watt hps and 400 heat the 10x9 rm.with out additional heating during the light hrs.
only use the heating during the off hrs unless realy cold out.been trying to keep the day temp and the night temps as close as possible.been able to keep the temps within 5 degrees.read some study's on the effect of temps on yield.so been trying to maintain a temp of 75.i was letting the temps dip to 65 at night with lights off.i'll know if see any differences in yields on this 2 nd batch coming up here in about 5 weeks.

Well seeing as how this is the place for pictures and I just took some more. clone.JPGday 46 of second plant january 23rd 2012 2.JPGday 46 of second plant january 23rd 2012.JPGday 36 of third plant january 23rd 2012 2.JPGday 46 of second plant january 23rd 2012 3.JPGday 36 of third plant january 23rd 2012.JPG
Clone is in a ghetto rigged humidity dome. It is doing alright though. It still has it's color and smells like grape fruit and skunk. It is wilted over, but I am pretty sure that is normal and it might bounce back in a day or two. It looks very much alive and I have a feeling it will pull through. Cheers.

yeah, just recently, my humidity was TOOO LOW... so.. i dumped about 10 gallons of water on the floor =) that solved it, and my temps do not swing like my buddies garage does... it stays relatively close to outside temps, WICH IS GREAT HERE.... VERY manageable right near the beach boiiiiiieeee (flava flav voice)

i just have to deal with mites.. so i spray like they were outside plants weekly to harvest and that works out great

yea hate them dam mite.been have problems with them little bastard.need to pick up a new no pest strip.mines few months old now not working any more.been using neem to keep them down cant do much on the batch thats getting close to harvest.

wish i could raise mine.and build a platform.but have limited height of 5'6".the carpet on the dirt floor isn't too bad.thought about grabbing some pallets and putting them down then some plywood on top.at least get them up a bit and not loose much height.

exactly even a piece of ply-board/ plywood on the concrete will help and its only about 1/2 " lol

concrete will suck the heat out of the pots resulting in slower growth.
