crappy luck my friend. there are factors what influence plants to go male or fem, but they arent enough to cause 100% one way or another. u just have bad luck i think.

this may be of some help.i did not read about this untill after my first grow were i got 7 females from 9 plants(regular seeds) (force flowered) and when i read this it kind of coincided with the way i treated my plants as seedlings so i dont know if its true but just a thought.
i will be doing the same next grow to see what happens.

I'm was always under the impression that the sex is determined by the seed and not the way you grow your plants. but I can argue this all day. I have had maily female plants when grown from seed. Usually 75 percent are female. Lately I started using HPS lights instead of MH for vegging and I have had much more males then females, Inface I had 18 males out of 20 seeds (white Widow Nirvana)on my last grow..

I really don't know what causes males, but It certainly isn't determined by seed. If switching the lights from MH to HPS gave me alot more males everytime I grow, then I would have to say either I just got very unlucky or I'm doing somthing wrong... I will just be cloning from now on I think.

i just get feminized seeds, they are alittle more expensive but your "gaurented" to get females. You could still stress them into hermies but so far i've got 6/6 females ( not a big sample but i just started growin)

Dutch Passion did a study on how to influence sex in marijuana plants. Take a look at it. Sex seems to be determined around week three to week four, and there are several things they advise doing and NOT doing during the 3rd to 4th week, or about the time your plant has three sets of true leaves.

Stress is a major factor in determining sex. The more you stress young plants, the more males you get. Stress is caused by transplanting, dramatic change in or interruption of light cycle, cold, heat, underwatering, overwatering, nute burn, etc. Best ot keep your plants as comfy and healthy as possible for the first 4 weeks. A soil nutrient content that is highest in N and lowest in K is also beneficial. Maybe wait four weeks to put them in 12/12. They also said to use high spectrum blue light (6500k) to increase your female chances.

I've used a lot of these tips and typically get 80% females. At three weeks I give them a 1/4 strenght shot of Growbig 6-4-4, and I use 6500k cfls for young seedlings. Hope this helps.

my .02..... i've been told by, and read that if your initial pot that you put your germinated seed in is 6" deep or more you are more likely to get females... 80% of plants planted by farmers are female.... i've always done this and always get 50% female @ least, ..

I'm on the third week of flowering my one plant because 7 out of my 8 plants were male or hermi. I don't know if its of any significance but i vegged mine under HPS.

Its genetics. You can stress plants to herm but you cant force a plant to be 100% female or 100% male through any techniques as far as I know. Its just genetics.

You just got some bad luck bro! Where did you get your seeds? Make sure to buy off of a reputable source that does proper seed selection and you will have better results.

Good luck
