;) Thanks!!! I'm totally going to flower right from seed next time, they are getting bigger and bigger everyday....soooooo wickedly excited :-P a little scared that they might be too tall and busy, i'm working with about 7 ft tall in my closet so hopefully I'll be able to keep up with all 3! I did top them and have about 4-6 main branches but they are just so darn bushy :)

So....pretty little white hairs coming out everyday now! Did some trimming of a few lower branches that weren't really getting much light ~ hope this is OK :?: My 2 larger ladies were pretty thirsty so I just gave them 1/4 tsp of bloom booster and a capful of blueberry flavored cal/mag mixed in with the ro water, hope this is ok too! i didn't give any molasses cuz a little bird told me the MG bOlom booster like eats it all up anyways ~ so i'll wait on it for now just to be safe :) I also made my daily light adjustments and plant rotations (my babies like a lot of light changes)! I decided to add to my little closet grow my T5 fish tank light ~ it's 3 ft long and has 1- 54w 10kk and 1- 54w actinic 03 (whatever that is).... it also has 8 little led lights (it's pretty sick and i paid quite a bit for it) don't worry....i have supplement light for my fishies in the meantime :) . I took a few pics of the setup without my babies in there :) Still SOOOOOOOOOoooooooo EXCITED!:weed: still not sure what strain I'm workin with here???????

starting week 3 flower :0 OH BOY have my 3 gals grown over the past week....seems like just yesterday they were only little rooted seed shells nestling under a thin layer of warm, fluffy, moist soil! I've been giving just water to them the past 2 times because I'm scared to over nute them (the tips seemed to be wilting a little bit) and I don't think they like the mg bloom booster stuff. Tomorrow I will be getting some molasses to feed and I figure I would mix a little cal/mag in every other feeding! i also found a mountain fed spring runoff right down the street from me, so i filled up like 20 gal worth and I've been using that. I also posted a thread called "to water or not to water" and realized I wasn't watering enuff (i hope :wall:) so i watered yesterday until I saw some runoff and it took about a gal for the 2 larger ladies. That seems like A LOT! But they seem OK today :) The plant I gave too much nitrogen to in it's veg cycle is still green as a pine tree, but no leaves have fallen off yet and the branches all have flowers on them...so I'm happy!

I took some pics from under my little magnifier.....aren't they soooooo cool? I didn't even know you could do that!

Flowers look so pretty....my smaller gal (the one 2 weeks younger) is developing waaaay faster than the other 2 larger ones I vegged for 9 weeks. I will most def veg sooner next grow :) My license only lets me have 2 mature plants anyways and I wasn't expecting 3 females outta 3 bag seeds! So if one takes a little longer thats A OK with me.
Still have no idea what strain I'm working with here???? I guess time will tell :)

I think I moved beyond "sooooo excited" status and now I am feeling kinda anxious and nervous as this is my first grow and I DO NOT want to mess anything up. I'm also feeling kind of sad knowing I have to cut them down......sad but glorious harvest....I think I may cry now.

Very nice.....VERY nice! :)
Thank you MidAmber :) How are your 2 doin? I checked out the thread of your 1st grow and your plant looks a lot like my larger female. I sure hope i get a oz off her. Do you think lollitopping will be beneficial for me in this case for my 2 larger ladies? I'm gonna have to do some more research on it. I'm paranoid I'm gonna get popcorn buds all over the place......no really, I like have nightmares about it....lol!

Oh noes....lol. In MOST cases lollitopping is going to be beneficial....well, in mid-to-taller plants.

What you will do is cut most of the lower fan leaves right before flowering and the energy that would have went into the lower "popcorn" buds, is now going into your main colas. (I would say the bottom 1/4 of the plant's BOTTOM foliage. I.E. the sites that are receiving little to no light)

I was a rookie, and on my 1st grow did not do it...DOH, because I hadn't researched it in time...LOL< YOU LIVE AND YOU LEARN, heh.

Check the forums, there are some pretty good threads about lollitopping, AND personally I would recommend it on any plant outside of short ones, and 12/12 from seed.

;-) thanks....would you think I can still try to do it? (starting week 3 flower) I already cut a bunch of branches on the bottom off (sparingly) that weren't getting enough light about 4 days ago, think I can do it again so soon? You say to cut off fan leaves? I've been cutting the entire branch off ....is that ok?

I usually cut the whole branch off to if there is absolutely no light penetration to that certain branch or fan leave.... it should b fine.. by the way man it looks good so far keep it up:bigjoint:

End of Week 4 FLOWER!
I can't express how much my babies have grown in 1 week :) They all seem to be developing well, especially my smaller sativa. Her buds are fat and denser than the other 2. Hopefully I won't get too much "popcorn nugs" of those 2. The plant that had a nitrogen OD seems to be pulling through - leaves below are still pretty dry, but there is good growth overall. All 3 have 4 main colas as I topped and fimmed them multiple times (which I will not do on my next grow so much due to lack of space). Only giving them cal/mag and molasses every other watering. Spring fed mountain water is totally working and I'm happy about that cuz it's FREE (when it's not frozen....BRRRRR!) They still need A LOT of water every 3-4 days (like a gal per plant) and I'm still not getting any run off from the bottom :wall:, not sure why?
Can't wait to see how much more they grow this week :o

wouldn't it be better to cut the shoots that you dont want and LEAVE the fan leaves? by leaving the fan leaves, you know, those big solar panels on your plant that convert light into energy, those lower fan leaves can produce energy for your top colas. even tho fan leaves are shaded light does penetrate the canopy and those shaded leaves do collect light. i just never understand why ppl cut the popcorn shoots and fan leaves.

I don't really cut any fan leaves....NO SIR!! I did a little trimming of about 20 shoots that just didn't have much to 'em a few weeks ago, but I did some research and I don't really want to be cutting too much, it slows everything down a bit I guess. So I just let em go, but I totally get what your sayin :) I usually only take off leaves that are dead or close to dying (which hasn't been very much).
