If there shortriders I WOULD worry. I don't have any experience with the ak's but my SR's vegged for 8-10 weeks before I had to switch them to 12/12.. If space is an issue I would do it now, remember they will double or even triple in size when they start to flower..

One word for shortriders/ UNSTABLE!

Check out my grow in my sig if you want a referance! My only girl out of 4 is in here 8th week of flowering and still going strong.. Nothing you read about the SR in the description is right lol.. Shes almost 4 feet tall and there's nothing short about her now..

I kept mine on 12/12 because they got so big I couldn't take a chance but I know a member who did exactly what your thinking of doing with shortriders and switched them back after they showed and he had great results..

Imho I would recommend leaving them on 12/12 though, If there not true auto's why treat them like they are you know..

yeah i also had shortriders and a mix of 3 other autos and the shortriders were the only ones that didn't auto so in the end they got ripped out and binned as they were getting in the way of the others

No problem, there's a lot of info in my SR grow if you want to see what it ended up looking like! I'm glad I could help, hopefully your able to keep them under control and get some good bud out of it at the same time! I will say that the bud looks fantastic! :) I'm still waiting on the cure to give a smoke report.
