getting close now. i must say this is one of my easiest grows in this 2x2 with no visible problems and very little maintenance including watering. just topdress weekly which i’ll do one more time (maybe 2) and thats it.

i really liked this bed for this small area i’ll keep it going.

Looking wonderful:clap:. Idk if I've seen so many tops that well spaced with a near perfect level canopy. And not even using a trellis net! Nothing but primo tops coming from this tent
haha thanks man i have seen slightly superior examples for sure but not many and not by much lmao

and for primo buds all around yeah thats the endgame we will see how well they are gonna ripen

but without doubt i am a happy grower! :hump:

i harvested today mostly because i am seeing extreme reflowering after suffering serious blackouts last week. we lost power for 48-50 hours over a period of 5 days and i think it had a negative effect on the plant. other than that old growth is done and was gonna be ready to harvest around this time so i just went ahead and harvested.

still happy with the results and i am gonna post the final dry weight. i gotta say these are really nice big nugs and seriously dense for a mostly sativa plant. reflowering sucks though because it looked so much better without it lol

3 seedlings of a brand new pure sativa is already in this bed for a pheno run. i really liked this bed lol

this caribe is smokeably dry now. i am moving it into the jars. probably i will air it out a couple of times but i dont think it will lose much more weight from now on.

so there was a big branch which i pollinated with some herm pollen from another tent and i didnt trim it even so i will not put this into final yield. also because of those blackouts which made ac and dehum unavailable, i found tiny tiny patches of mold inside 3 tops. not the biggest tops but not the smallest either. so i am guessing all this made me lose at least another 10gr of prime bud. either way those got tossed without weighing.

also about maybe 20-25gr of mid and fluff is not in the final weight either. i will probably make butter or something from it.

so all in all with all the discarded stuff and shit it comes to 184gr. i know it will lose some more weight as i burp and air it out but its pretty much grindable atm so i am guessing not much.

(also sorry for blacking out the photos, being anonymous and all that lol)

bed is still going strong in its 3rd run and this time i have been having this horrible persistent gout attack for the last 3 months which made almost impossible to stand on my feet for longer than 10-15 mins.

after 20days with meds the last 2-3 days its much better but the gals are a little bit neglected this time around. they have been flowering for about 18 days and have been in this bed for way more than a month without any topdressing which was really hard on them so there are some yellowing leaves.

but now that foot is better i’m gonna topdress them in a couple of days and i have been keeping them going with some liquid wormcastings and bat guano when my foot allowed me to do so :)

well either case i cant say i am disappointed so far. actually i’m so impressed with this ease of build and end results, i am gonna convert my other 60x60 to an airpot bed soon too. ofc when my gout lets me lol

oh also this is a personal cross of (dinachem x blue kush) x destroyer.

thanks man, i am happy with it for sure. even 2-3 plants grow happily with that much neglect so its a fine setup for me. yesterday i topdressed so i removed the mulch and every inch of the medium surface was covered with roots so they have happy roots but a little tight space maybe. going to do my other 2x2 this week probably with taller airpots so i can maybe double the medium volume to see how that works.

so felt good yesterday and set up the other bed. used 2 cups of high p bat guano, 1/4th of the medium is chicken and farmyard manure and homemade ewc, also added basalt, lava rocks, lava rock sand, just a couple of handfuls of sand, wheat bran, barley, malted rye, recycled organic coco mix, fresh coco from blocks, old dry cannabis leaves and stems, 2 cups of dry stinging nettles, some clay shards i found at home, micronized zeolite, and negligible amounts of perlite and vermiculite just because i had them. (oh now i wish i also added activated carbon well there is always the next time)

today i planted these 3 gals which have been sitting in my clone tent for so long. 3 malawis from ace seeds. they have been sitting in those pots for so long i even forgot if they were regular or feminized. need to check. well anyway this will be the first time i’ll grow these and i’ll pick the best plant to keep. i know they seem so sad now but they will probably look very different in 2 weeks.

normally i’d say a week but today as i was planting them i noticed the soil got hot. not like a true composting hot but its definitely more toasty at the bottom of the pot so this may make them uncomfortable at the beginning but i am not so worried atm because this happens with my mixes constantly as i also add a lot of fresh organic material like rye, bran, nettles, dry leaves etc and it usually stops in a week or so. also there is a lot of worms from the ewc. i also seem to have really doubled the medium volume compared to my first attempt. well anyway such a long winded post. here it goes.

The plants are looking nice, sucks about the bleaching. I'm sure you will reposition everything the best you can.

On that new tent, I would be tieing those girls down dominatrix style. Or possibly topping a few times and putting in a scrog net. Either way canopy control would help you out alot I think.

thanks man. yeah i am just gonna ride it out probably no possibility to do much except supercrop but the canopy is also full. not bothered so much its just two tops which are directly under the cobs. i’d have flipped way sooner if i havent had this gout shit and avoid all these problems but thats life i guess haha

the malawis i dont intend to veg much just enough to get 4-5 cuts off each if they are fem and if they are regs just gonna take cut from the female and flip and in that tent i have a lumatek attis 200w which i only crank up to 120w at most. led bars with smds so it doesnt cause bleaching at all.

Gout is a bitch. I don't think people understand the amount of pain it causes. I've had it off and on for 10 years. The only 5hing that knocks it out every time is prednisone. It shows up in the knuckle of your big toe, ankle, knee, elbows. It feels like someone putting drywall screws laqured with broken glass through your joints and leaving it there. Wind hurts. Bed sheets hurt. It's been so bad I had to crawl to my tent.

I feel you, everything is temporary.

Sweet little grow btw. My brother grows in a 2x2, I'm going to send him this link.

sorry to hear you suffer from this too man gout really is a bitch. i always thought i had a relatively high tolerance for pain. got a couple of tattoos didnt even feel them when i was getting them, multiple cuts and scars which needed extensive stich work wasnt painful at all, couple of piercings didnt even flinch while they pushed that needle clean through my flesh. gout makes me cry. its without a doubt the worst pain i have experienced in my life and its not like just pain its pain pressure heat nerve stimulation pulsation every fucking uncomfortable and painful sensation all together at the same time.

yeah i got these 2 2x2 to test out new genetics and pick a keeper to grow in my 4x4 but i am happy with how well these small 2x2 perform too. with proper training in these and some neglect on the 4x4 these do perform better per each 2x2 area :)

I had 2 open heart surgeries, one was a full on transplant. I'd rather go through that again than have a full on gout flair up for any amount of time.

I have 2 4x8's and a 2x8 cabinet, just starting a new hunt myself. Filling a 4x8 with 12 testers
