Air Stones Increasing my pH???

Hi All:
I have an Aeroponic System and i've started my Nutrients this week at 5.5pH and 1.3EC yesterday, after 24 hours my pH has increased from 5.5 to 6.3... I'm new with Aeroponics, it's there any possibility that my Air Stones can cause this or i'm testing pH incorrectly? Should i wait 24 Hours to test pH and PPM? I'm using 5 Stones in my 30 Gallons Reservoir.

ive noticed that if i leave a water container open, the PH if brought down, goes back up. maybe the water and air buffers the ph?

Hey, no need to worry as pH flutuactions are norma. The reason for this is hydronium will be absorbed by the plant as it uses up the nitrogen. This lack of hydronium will cause a shift toward alkalinity. Some people adjust pH every 24 hours to account for this change. U can also add a buffer to help stabilize ur pH if u want.

I always notice the same thing right after I replace the nutes in my Rainforest unit. What I usually do is mix my replacement nutrient and adjust it to a lower PH value to compensate. I usually shoot for about 5.2 before I add it to the reservoir and it will usually always stabilize out around 5.8 after a few hours and stay there. The plants don't seem to mind as I've never seen any issues doing it that way.

I think the best way is to Test pH after 24 hours right? Has been so quiet like 4 days ago at 6.3 so let's try this and i let you know what happen.

Wow awesome thanks for reply, so everybody agree that Air Stones increase the pH right? Knowing that it's so easy to fix it this way
In my case has been increased a 0.9 pH almost 1.0 pH so Mixing the Nuts minus~1.0 it's a good idea? Or better yet drop it down after 24 hours in Bubbles to get better PPM's?

Today the pH was too high again and some Plants showed OverNuts Signs, i've replaced my Nuts with RO water at 5.6pH~...
Also i forgot to mention that i was using the Cheapest Air Stones in the Planet lol those ActiveAqua 6" and 12" are so bad for this Application. I've upgraded to 2-4" Micro-Pore ones and it's quiet for now, i report tomorrow... Throw away those Blue Strips Stones if you don't want a mess and a nice Headache
