air pots on dripper - Some advice please

Hi,

I have a friend who has asked me to post about air pots. I have only ever run DWC so its something im not too familiar about.

Is there chance of infection from root rot, ie from high temp from the res?

The system has large 25L pots using only Hydoton and a large res that pumps out on a timer.

How often should the timer run, how often fed etc?

Any advice would be most welcome.

They work (no root bound plants) but need extra watering because of holes, ect - they make the size up mentioned. but expensive - more time needed for care also
