AG grow supplimented with HPS

Ok guys so I'm just finishing the growth stage in my AG and I picked up a 70w HPS with 6800 lumens to help with the flowering (personal small grow). I'm planning on setting the AG hood to one side to assist in photosynthesis with my 4 42w CFLs on the otherside, and the HPS helping to provide those lovely buds I've heard so much about.

My major question is should I continue with the CFLs once I install the HPS (should be here by next week - one week into flowering - is that a problem?) Its my first successful grow (my last one died off suddenly) and I'm more than interested in all the knowledge you all possess.

Also, I'm planning on rigging my AG grow surface/pump to recirulate my h2o in a five gallon bucket. Simple wiring into the base itself (with good insulation, my friend does alot of work with his electrician step-father) to the grow surface should power the thing. Do you think the stock pump with the AG would work with this - i have two airstones - or should I go into building my own? I'm just looking for enough to satisfy myself with this small grow.

Pic included is just my babies, but its when they weren't doing so well (all problems have been corrected)

You should be able to use the HPS and the CFLs together without any problem. Just be careful not to burn it :)
