So i read that most fem seeds turn hermie? wtf is that shit, man i payed higher dollar for those seeds and if they hermie ima flip out man. I just dont want to get to the end of my damn flower period and boom balls all over my plants. and then have clones backed up cause im doing a perpetual harvest....so what the hell should i do...i bought them from nirvana are they known for hermies or any insite would be cool.

No, thats not true. 1 or 2 might depending on how they were made and how stable the genetics are so its a good idea to keep your eyes open this first run and carefully mark the clones and which plant it came from. if you spot a hermie or 2 you can kill the mother and their clones. if you get mostly hermies from fem seeds and you contacted nirvana im pretty sure they would replace them for you.

Thank you destruction!! For clarifying that.. appreciate it. I've had people argue with me about that same subject.. tried telling them the truth.. but again, they were some of those people we don't like.. you know, the instant 'experts'. ;)

This is another fine example of what I've been talking about for a long time now. There is WAY too much incorrect information on the internet. Especially whenever it comes down to cannabis. Which is also the reason why I preach about how 'hands on' experience is the best way to learn how to grow.. because there is indeed so much incorrect information out there.. and when a noob sees this information.. it throws them into a mental loop because they don't know whats wrong and whats right..

I've thought about buying a private server from my brother inlaw.. or seeing if he would just host my page on his network.. and just take all the information that I know to be correct.. from my years of 'hands on' experience and put all that information on my site.. so the noobs can have a stable place where they can get the correct information. Plus, I could possibly get with potroast or fdd and see if they maybe would want me to put a link to my site.. on RIU.. and vice-versa.

I mean, it would def. help the noobs... IMO. I may seriously consider this.. excuse me while I go do some figuring.

The easiest way to get hermies is to break the 12 hour dark cycle, you keep it dark for and you should be good.. and of coarse the stress down

Assholes who stress the shit out of their plants have problems, of course if your trying a real long flowering sativa, indoors your more apt to have issues too. But thats mostly because theres more time for shit to go wrong. I grow reg and fem seeds, no problems except shit, Joey Weed seeds, from Hemp Depot. They looked like raisens when I got em and I knew they were gonna be shit.

Definitely NOT true. Depends on how the person treats the plant. a.k.a stressing it out and if you actually know how to grow

Since the OP's question has been answered, can I piggyback a related question? I've been struggling with heat issues in my first three weeks of veg of some fem autoflowers. My heat soared to 104 but with some different approaches to exhausting and installing an AC in the main room, I have got it down to 88/90 with lights on, about 75 with lights off. I know that's still too high, so I've ordered some tempered glass to make a vented hood. It won't be here until Monday, but I feel pretty confident that will get me to the 75-80 lights-on range that I want.

In the meantime, my plants have shown some signs of heat stress as the leaves on the fourth node have started curling slightly (more than slightly on one). Please tell me this period of stress won't herm my plants.

400W MH, exhaust, intake fan and oscillating fan.

yeah i have the wonder woman feminized seeds, u know how an expecting father is before his daughters are born, i was just nervous didnt want em turnin all lez on me n stuff, dont get me wrong lesbians are the shit, but id prefer my daughters not to be that way :D lol
