i didn't finish my first grow, but i'm starting again with 1 AF afghan kush ryder.


setup the same from the old thread
closet open door


grow in soil
Lights: now i'm running cfl (4Bulbs 140W 6.7k) ( 2Bulbs 60W 2.4k ) - 20/4 circle
Temp: 24-26c
Humidity:50-80%
room temp: 22-24c
fan keep air flow to closet


germination in soil, sprouted after 3 days

Looks good. Maybe in a few days start putting the bulbs a little bit closer to the plant. Put a book or something under pot to raise it.

shes alivee looking forward to this one. Yeah put your bulbs closer in a couple days to reduce stretching, ohter than that looking good mate!

Your off to a good start. I'm growing the same strain myself right now. I'm in my 4th week and they're showing their sex.

Do you have good ventillation? If not do ASAP! And maybe overwatering. I can see all of the soil is wet. Let it dry out. The roots need to grow down and expand and they will not properly if you keep watering. The soil in bottom of pot stays wet a few days after the top starts to dry. I like to judge when to water by picking up the pot. Feeling the weight of it lets me know if it has plenty of moisture in it.

Also raise the pot up more so that the plant is about 1 inch from bulbs. I do this with mine they will not burn!

You need a small fan in the back or top of your box drawing air out as well. It might not seem like it will do much but it does wonders!!

Air coming in from the front of box and circling around and going out the same way isnt enough. In one wway and drawn out another is the way to do it.

How big is your box??? I dont think you need 4. Maybe 2 from the pics i can see. 1 12v plug/adapter should be fine to rig the 2 fans.

sup W! I thought I had subscribed to this thread but looks like it didn't.

How is your seedling? As for fans put a cooler inlet one @ the bottom of your grow & 1exhaust at the top. If you still have problems w/ heat after this you might want to try to use 2 fans as exhaust instead of 1 and just make a whole and let the air flow in w/ pressure of both exhaust fans (passive intake).

Should really have started them closer to the lights, you've focused all ur lights further away stretching is bad for auto growth mine all so much more bushy and thicker stocks only on day 9.

Any updates? I'm also growing in about the same timeline as you.
