Figured Id do a quick post here, and I apologize for not going from day one but I really wanted to share my experience. I grew 2 Afghan Khush Ryders Autoflower Fem. from Attitude under a 400w MH/HPS. 3 weeks MH, rest HPS on 20/4 light cycle. Grew in 5 gallon pots with Fox Farm Ocean forest from start to finish plus their liquid nute trio after 3 weeks.
Im a newb and this was my first real grow with a real grow light, tent, and GOOD seeds.
One plant was EXTREMELY stringy. It had no main cola but like 10-12 side branches that had a shit load of popcorn buds. The other plant had 1 big main cola and about 4 decent sized side branch colas, then some smaller side branches with popcorn bud.
From seed to harvest they grew for 9 weeks (63 days), should have been 10 weeks but I had to chop a week early which wasnt too bad considering one plant was already ready. I had to chop because my gfs friend was supposed to stay the weekend but had the dates mixed up. I basically chopped a week early for no reason. I didnt want her friend smelling anything.
SMOKE REPORT:
Anyway, I quick dried what came out to be about 1.5g and smoked it this past Saturday with 4 friends, myself and my gf. One fat 1.5g dutch had all 6 of us blazed like crazy, it was a BLAST. We all sat at the kitchen table with music playing, and playing this game called something like How well Do you know your spouse/hubby. Its a game that asks how each person would respond to a question and you write down the answer. Sober that game would suck, blazed, it was a super laugh fest and extremely entertaining!
The Afghan Kush even after fresh picked and quick dried was super smooth and really strong. My GF swears she didnt feel high or anything for that matter. She was definitely high, but it was such a clean fun high with our friends she just acquainted it to a really good time
. This bud will definitely open your mind up for a good time, bring you laughter and super good feelings, especially with friends.
I have the rest of the chopped bud slowly air drying before I cure it. Im saying I have close to 3 ounces after its all dried and cured, but we will see come this weekend. I have it set perfectly so it will air dry over a 7 day period before it goes into jars for curing.
Ill post pics tonight of the plants 6 weeks in and of the bud hanging air drying (bud porn??) lol.
