I can give many details as to the whole extent of this process so far, which hasnt been much, it has only been 2 1/2 weeks. The most complicated thing I've done so far was to enclose a corner of my closet with a black sheet and some velcro and staples, creating a nice, hopefully sterile environment. Oh and a little half pint poland spring bottle i use with yeast and sugar water to make co2. Only one thing worries me and that is some yellow orange discoloration on some of the out side edges of the leaves. Is this normal for the first few sets of leaves as they die and make way for new leaves? I dont know maybe the nuterient tablets it came with are too strong or too weak.
There are other nutrient tablets I could get. The ones i'm using now are for salad greens. But there is also cherry tomatoes, gourmet herbs, basil, chili peppers, petunias, and the box says coming soon strawberries, wildflowers, baby bell peppers. My question is which of these plants is most like a marijuana plant.
I should mention too that there are several settings which control the amount of light which are tomatoes/peppers, salad greens, herbs/basil, flowers, strawberry. I have been using the setting for tomatoes/peppers and this gives 16 1/2 hours of light and 7 1/2 of dark. how does this sound?

Please let me know and thank you so much.

I would give them at least 18 hours of light a day.

As for the nutes, if you want to use what you have, go with the cherry tomatoes. You'll probably end up with cherry buds.:blsmoke:

But you'll end up going to a hydro shop, and getting some good nutrient, and following the directions to be successful in an aeroponics grow.

Actually it gets 16 hours of light and 8 of dark. I would have to turn the lights on manually and off to change it. Because the automatic settings im not sure which one would provide more light. The lights turn on and go off automatically depending on which type of plant you have selected. Although i will have to do it manually eventually when the flowering stage comes. I just got the last 3 seeds to sprout, making the biggest age difference from the first sprout about 2 weeks and a couple days the shortest age difference is maybe just under 2 weeks. This could pose a slight problem as my tallest plants are getting to the point where i have to raise the hood to its next level, might make the new sprouts stretchy. Im going to hold out on moving the hood as long as possible for this reason.
Will have new pics soon

Thanks for response

When did you start using nutrients?
you can just use the regular AG nutes for veg. once you start flowering use any nute that is high in P and low in N.

i would recommend something like foxfarms hydroponics nutes. they aren't the best but they are the easiest to use, are organic, and are almost as good as the best.
