Aerogarden + metal halide help

hi to all , this is my first post on this forum and if possible i would like some good help for not ruining my new plants..

ive had the aerogarden waiting for some seeds since last year as it was almost impossible to get dome being in a small island with very strict rules and shiq but neways...

germinated outside of aerogarden as i did not like the idea of having all that nutrient on a hatched root, worked fine for both the garden and the plant, in 4 days its grown like being in soil for at least double the time.
Yesterday morning i came in and found both my grow lights not working and i hope that i might get some replacements sent but since ive got to wait at least 2 weeks for them to come so i said waiting cant be an option...

Soo.. went and bought a 70watts metal halide bulb (very bright white colour and a very bright white price aswell! ) which looks and was reviewed more effective than most of the other lights but i am not sure if i might be giving the plant good or bad light or anything to be quite honest coz all u do is put pills in this thing and does everything itself

did anyone have a problem with the lights of the aerogarden??
have u used other light fixtures?? coz i cant find the growbulbs locally and i dont want to waste my babiess :(

the yellow tips could have been a pH thing, so test levels in water that you use...and get soil tester..Maybe your over feeding them..Just a thought? Good luck mang
