So should the roots have constant flush or is there any benefit to a dry period like with tomatoes?

To be honest I'm not too sure on that... I've always run it 24/7, didn't have issues on my 1st grow... oh yeah, Except it grew BALLS lol

hey, nice guide, just something i wanted to ask about temperatures.
my room temp is around 65-70 but the reservoir temp is always at least 72 degrees, even goes up to 79... any ideas how to cool it down? i'm worried about root rot
thanks

I wouldn't worry if its 79, you can freeze a mini water bottle (and leave the ice chunk in there so you dont dilute the nute water) if you are really concerned.

just stumblin in for my 2 cents. AG is cool. I have no luck and no good seeds so i sold mine but i learned plenty.

#1 need good seeds, be willing to spend some cash to get them, legal or otherwise in your location, by nature of breeding costs and time.....Not cheap!

#2 Some cfl light DON'T HELP at all, in fact they may have stressed it. It costs more but petco has great reptile bulbs for like 9 bucks....WAL Marts SUCK!!!!!!!!
It mite as well be moonlight or starlight or really a heat generating "alien sun" cause they don't see or eat the light right. Again be ready to spend more $$$.

#3The AG nutrients suck. and there is not enough even for the herb kit it came in.

#4 A dark area is a MUST, or else you will get herms...stress one, genetics, whale size pot in a fih bowl. Stress two LIGHT STRESS. I had mine out in the living room. Very DUMB.

#5 don't move that hood up until you absolutely have to.

#6 Start flowering after topping heals. As soon as two heads ad about 4-6" FLOWER. It will get real tall real quick.

It is cool but i just didn't have the patients for it. Plus very discouraged when my shit all went male and herme and was so very, very healthy. Hope somebody reads this and learns from my mistakes.
i ordered the master kit, the AG NUTES ARE GOOD!, dont think so? checc the journal man haha
Want mine? :D I just got GH's FloraNova, and so far I'm really liking it.... if nothing else, I prefer the liquid over trying to dissolve the tablets; you know how much I need the "ease of use" so that I can do all the maintenance without needing help from others. ;) I've got the majority of the Master Kit's nutes left and then the "preseeded" kit's are still unused as well.... that's a pretty decent amount of nutes, just sitting unused on my shelf! I still need the sponges, but as much as you love the AG nutes, I was already gonna offer 'em up to ya.

haha yea im going GH next grow, but the AG nutes are good, is a bitch tho trying to dissolve them in the water bottle, have to sit there for like 5 mins swirling the water around haha, I gave alot of mine to a friend who is gonna use my AG Base to grow with, you can ship them over whenever haha

Does anyone know what the switch on the back of the AG pro 200 behind the pump filter. You can turn it, it ranges from 0-5. What setting for the pump I should also use? Im currently had it on herbs but started getting bad results and now on strawberries need help please

if i were still growing iin the AG,i would use those peat whatever the fuck SICC uses cause im seein alot of STEM rot with these sponges on diff. growers threads,.Man that stem rot is a horrible thing, and will ruin your entire crop, and then ull have to start cloning!

My master gardener kit and my actual herb seed kit came with the gray sponges that split into 2 pieces on the top.
