I'm going to order the "Aerogrow extra" within the next few weeks. I also have a collection of seeds provided by one of my associates. Including: Afghan Kush, Purple Haze/Kush, and two more unknown, but dank strains. I need some of the best tips for a first time aero-ponics grower.Oh, and all indoor!

I'll begin a journal soon for anyone who wants to fallow me.

Man Aeroponics is so fun! Im growing Aero also and it super efficient anf effective! Im goin on my 3rd harvest know in this type of setup and have had nothing but excellent results.
So let me start by lettin you know what i got goin and see if theres anything that could help.

Im in a 5x4 room with 6 plants and one 400 watt hps and one 600 watt hps. I have both light tilted so that the light crosses paths. Dont know if it helps or not, just a stoner idea i guess!
I have a 25 gal resevoir runnig 8 gals. I like to keep it set there just as a personal preferance. I start with about 400 PPms in my res from early veg and gradually take that to around 800 at the end of veg which is a month long. Switching my res every week works really well. I alos like to take each individual plant out and take it to the shower and rinse the roots every oyher day! i got the time for it but it is not a must to rinse your roots. Just a proper resevoir change is good.
After my veg stage i completly flush all old nutes with Clear-x then i like to rinse the roots to get all the clear-x out.
Next for flower. I start off my newly refreshed girls with 550-600 PPMs and watch the new roots take over! I take the PPMs up by about 50 PPms every week. So at the end of flower im around 1000-1100 PPms.
Those are just a few tips on the PPMs. Oh ya i also keep my pH at 5.5-5.8.
Hope this shit helps a bit. Cant wait to see some pics bro!

If you cant keep reservoir temps down below 70F I wouldnt even attempt, very important to keep rootzone cold, would never have to rinse off roots. Aeroponics is difficult and pricey to do it right, but when done right its faster, more efficient(less nutrients) and higest quality. I have a 10X5 sealed closet with 1-1000w liquid cooled HPS on a light mover, where I grow 40 plants at a time. I have my reservoir in a seperate room that is airconditioned where nutrient reservoir temps stay between 62-68*F. I use 10 gallons for 40 plants per week! I use house and garden vann de zwaan nutes and a few others. heres a pic of clones that are only 3 weeks old and what healthy aeroponic roots should look like. I have not seen any browning of my roots since adding heavier nutrients either. I would say do your homework and get your climate control perfect before attempting. Aeroponics are very touchy and will let you know theres a problem right away. You found the best forums on the internet for aeroponics on rollitup.org, that I know of.
