Yea i took mine off so i can hang it lower to the plants so they dont stretch too much,

yea my AG hood is pretty close ima keep it. if my plants get too tall
during flowering ill just snap it off and add more cfls.

haha no prob, stretching means, well when they stretch haha, you want the nodes, branches off the stalk, to be closer together and bushy, because if they stretch, you just going to get abunch of lil 'popcorn" nugs instead of big, nice long nugs

ok say if i "snapped my hood off" which was the last thing i was going to be doing lol but i want good nugs haha. how are you going to keep it up right over it and how high should it be?

well heres a pic i took this morning, not all the way set up but as you can see the hood is on top of the Rez upside down, you can see where i snapped it off, im going to put those screw hangers into the top of it and hang it from the top of my closet, i still have to rig somthing up, i germinated today, so hopfully tomorrow they wil crack open or the latest wedesday morning

i just need to get my figure 8 cord i bought a timer today. and my seeds have been germing for a day now i should be set up either tomorrow or wed morn also.

how high should i hand the AG hood over

3 inches should be good, there just CFL's so they wont burn the plants

EDIT: i would add like 2

Im going to 2 CFL's with the AG hood, so thats 4, then later on when flowering, add 2 more reg CFL's then like two of those 100 watt bulbs, so 8 total. 6 with out the AG hood,

but i still might go 6 smaller CFL's with two of the big 100 watts, then the AG hood, so 10 in total, should do the job

are you running the cfls from day one?

cuz if so ill prolly run 6 cfls and the AG hood. for vegging and for flowering swith out the daylight ones and switch to softwhite and add 3 more for that. total of 9. not counting the AG.

for the pics, just save the pic on your computer, then click the "Go Advanced" button, and scroll down to "manage attachments", and you upload the pics, like on myspace haha if you use that shit or whatever haha, i found the 100 watt, softwhite too

EDIT: thats not the price, i think its how much you save or some shit

they don't look the greatest because there new cuttings. there a little limp because i think the aero garden keeps them a little wet. I put all 7 in there 2 days ago.

yea i was going to ask you how they were doing int the AG with the rockwool? from what i have read they dont do that well in the AG because of it keeping too much water in, you should watch out for that

Last two questions and ill stop bugging you haha.

1. Are you running cfls from day one even seedlings?

2. After two weeks should i nute regularly? which method of nutes are you going with.

Ex: 1 big. or 2 small 1 big shit like that haha.

im toasted right now haha.

Sicc I think you right the rock stays a little wet Im just messing around with this thing i found it on craigslist.com for 25 bucks so i got it. I cut some clones and stuck it in there with some b-12 and lets see what happens. it kind of cool if it works for clones makes it easy and kind of dumb proof.
