i believe my plant has a ph problem so i was jsut wondering if anyone can tell me wat should be looking for to idintify a ph problem

like light green spots almost white spots and the curling inward of the leafs? and the spots r dried out

u need to take ur pH using a pH metre, litmus paper or some other instrument. then adjust it accordingly usuing pH up or down. It needs to be between 5.5 and 6.5, idealy 6-6.2. hope ur grow goes well.

sorry Green,I have to butt in Before you confuse him....:peace:
1) ideal Ph should be as close to 6.8 as possible in soil.
2) ideal PH should be as close to 5.8 as possible In Hydro

However, use his advice on the Meter, you wont regret it!!!!

i ma going to buy some kind of instrument tomorrow in the mean time is there anyway that i can tell if the ph is too high or too low aatm until i get it tomorrow

PH problems suck,,, but when you get a meter for it everything goes good...:peace:..................................................................................................

I suspect i have a ph problem and am going to get a meter soon,in the meantime,can you tell me what i do if its High, and if its Low? thanks
What kinda of water should i be using? is tap water ok if its set to let the chlorine gas out? thanks again

well once i get home after school adn buying the ph meter im going to take some good pics of my plant to see how i am doing and some pics of the problem leafs...since the problem is on the lower have of my 3 and a half week old plant will this probelm hurt ym plant in the future
