Looking for advice on whether it is worth buying seeds for this strain. Due to shitty cannabis laws in my country I'm only looking to have 2 plants in flower, while two vegging (take cuttings before flip, then veg for 8 weeks and flower 8+ and repeat, using an old method of TheCapn's as it will allow me to watch remotely and visit every other day, basically 1 plant under one 600 on a rock wool drip feed to achieve a pound).
I've always wanted to run GDP for its smell/colour/taste, but most importantly for its anxiety reducing and sleep inducing (for insomnia) properties claimed, which is what I want this medicine for. I also live in a pretty cool country which it is supposed to enjoy and brings out that purple eye candy.
However there is a lot of ambiguity about the strain and around the people who claim to sell the seeds. Some say its origins were Ken got some bag seed on some trip, though he claims its a purple urkle x big bud cross. Some claim decent yields while others say its modest, although that's all relative. I know there's only one original GDP, but wondering if anyone has any experience with the seeds in circulation.
marijuanaseedshop.com are giving 10 free feminized AK47 seeds with any purchase, which is a strain I love and would probably run anyway, one of my favourites of all time. So I'd be popping the 20 seeds and picking the best plants, maybe run the AK's a bit longer with the hope to get a cherry
