Advice on plant stages when your grow is very sub optimal

Hi - Great forums/resources here.

I'm currently growing in an outdoor greenhouse in Ireland, and finding it a little tricky to work out what stage my plant is at. All the pics / references generally cover indoor grows or outdoor grows in good climates. In rainy old Ireland, I'm not expecting monster buds, or even average buds, just something that's half smokeable - but because of this I'm having difficulty comparing what I've got, with the great pics on these forums.

The plant below is a 12 week old auto-flowering Northern Lights. The pot is probably a little on the small size, and it's planted in shop bought soil. I've added a little tomato plant food, but that's the only nutrients. As you can see the plant looks a little stunted (only a foot tall). The top pistils are all going brown (about 20% of the plant) but it doesn't appear to have flowered properly (at least vs the pictures I've seen). I would have therefore thought it had ages to go - however a good amount of leaves are yellowing and dying suggesting the plant is near end of life?

Anyone know whether I should be thinking about harvesting (a paltry yield) or is this still far from ready?

Any thoughts / advice hugely appreciated. This is a second time grow (first was far more typical, but in a different country/climate).

Thanks in advance!

From what I've gathered autos are supposed to go into a big final pot from the start and I can't see the buds close enough to know anything else

I'm sure I've seen an Ireland Growers thread on here, or maybe I was hallucinating

I can see why you're confused. I underfed my plants and caused growth problems (see journal in sig) but nothing like that. I wonder if they were so stressed when it flowered that it hermed, self-pollenated and went straight to seed?

I guess I'll find out soon enough - I'll give in another week or so. Could always do with the seeds if that's the case!
I have three new plants at seedling stage. Will give much bigger pots and more nutrients, and see how they go.

Latest pics attached. A lot of brown pistils, but going to give it another week I reckon.
Any advice welcome!
