Advice needed re:flwering

Hi all,
I vegged an unknown strain for 55days and have been flowering since then, i.e. Now 50days into flowering. Thank god it turned out to be a fem. Its a pc grow (regular size cpu).

My quewtion is whether ive vegged for too long meaning i will run out of space before the buds r ready.

What should i do? Building another cab is v. Hard at the moment...but thats the only thing i can think of.

Another question : temps has risen due to summer starting here. Means my pc grow is now at 31-33C... My only solution is to remove a bulb but then isnt flowering the time when u need to have loads of light during the lights on period?

Any suggestions welcome.

Pictures......but it sounds like you fucked up...the plant stretches 3x it's size when thrown into flower that's a rule of thumb to go by

if it took 50 days to show sex you have problems maybe root lock, or light leak?

You kind of lost me @ 50 days flowering. They should have stop stretching about 14- 21 days after flip.
So, they are not going to get any taller. Just building flowers. There for, if it hasn't out grown your case. You should be fine.
You can still do some LST.
What strain? Most Hybrids finish in about 60-70 days.
If there is no other was to lower your temp other than removing a light. Got to do what you got to do.
If you would like a better answer. Break out a camera and post a pic.

Wait you vegged for 50 days and are 5 days into flowering? Or you are 55 days into flowering? If your 55 days into flowering you should be done soon. If you vegged for 50 days in a pc case and then flipped it sounds like your fucked. You will have to find something bigger to flower in as the plant will stretch. Try stacked Rubbermaid containers or look for an old dresser at thrift stores or garage sales.

Sorry i dont keep any pictures offline. The only pictures i have are on my journal (click on my signature below).
I knowwwww ! Isnt it a bitch how it keeps growing in flowering!? Oh well its my first time, lesson learnt for next time.
But what abt now?

hi, just for future reference, veg the plant for 4 or 5 weeks max and with plenty of lst u will have no height issues. is it possible to move the pc case to a cooler part of the house, if not then maybe put the pc case in a beach type cooler bag, just close the flap lid over the top which still allows fresh air in, maybe just in the hottest part of the day. good luck and happy growing

It didnt show sex until 40-50 days (white claws from node) i.e. During pre flower, and then when into flowering i knew it was clearly fem as it was making abunch of white hairs at the stem/branch tops, which then get thicker into a bud. Red hair started showing after 3-4 wks flowering.

I was pretty sure it was fem at 40-50 days of veg but its my first time, i needed to see the buds forming to be sure

Hi,
I did 50days veg n then have been doing 57 days flowering (now at day 117 in total). I think i underestimated how much it would grow, its hard to say buti think it grew about twice the size during flower, including buds a the top. Its been nearly 8 wks since flip, its now slowed down its growth, except for some new white hair forming right at the top of the colas.
Unknown strain.
Im trying to lst but its hard as there r smaller buds forming all along the branches too. Im doing my best to lst though.

Veg 50 then flower since 57 days today.
Seems like im in trouble yeah, but it now looks like stem n branch growth have slowed down. I dont have what it takes to move it to a bigger grow box at the mo..

Thx eman, will not repeat such a long veg time in a pc case again!!
The beach cooler bag seems interesting - what abt the hot air though? Im thinking....if i sorta insulate the box n leave the air vents unobstructed, maybe that will stop the growbox temp inside to rise with room temp outside the box...? Is that what u r suggesting?

Ahhh I see, yes you vegged them to long for your space but that is very clear to you. we all make mistakes just learn form it and be a better farmer. Good luck!

Lights r on at night (from 6pm till 6am).
