alright so im thinking of using advanced nutrients for my next grow but they have so many different products, im not sure which to use. im thinking sensi grow A&B and bloom A&B for my base nutes, but whats a good mix for all the other supplemental nutrients? would anyone here who has experience with advanced nutrients like to help me out? its starting to get a lil overwhelming :-?

Go to the AN website and plug in Sensi and the type of grower you are in the calculator. You will get a list of all recommended neuts. The calculator is for hydro, but for dirt I plug in the size watering can I use to feed (2gal), as the res size. The list is long but it is your preference what you use. With Sensi A+B I use Sensizym, Piranha, Tarantula, overdrive, bud candy (not on the list) And final phase for the flush.

First of all, good choice on the Sensi A&B - good stuff there.

I tend to add in:

Voodoo Juice
Bid Bud
Bud Candy (sometimes)
Final Phase

This seems to work well in hydro, without it being too much for even the youngest plants.

Yes, you can use the nutrient calculator on the Advanced Nutrients site (or they have a cool iPhone app - http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/advanced-nutrients-calc/id368441830?mt=8), but I would suggest dropping their recommended amounts by at least 25%. Their formulation's been a little too strong for me in the past.

Don't want to burn your grow.

Other than that, I wouldn't get too crazy with the additives, not at first anyway. In time, you can add more, but in the beginning, always better to have just enough than to have too much.

Better for your sanity and the sanity of your plants. LOL

Oakster is giving good advice from what I've read, I plan to do the same, start out small with a hobbyisy package and work your way up from there once you get the nuances down...

thanks for the advice guys, ya im still not sure if i wanna use AN though because im growing in soil and isnt it mainly used for hydro? i was reading somewhere that if youre growing in soil the best AN product to use is iguana juice, should i just go with that? or does anyone know if the sensi/bloom AB will be fine? or maybe the hobbyist package ruiner was talkin about, i think that might be a good start for me since im new to these nutrients.

goto AN website, give Big Mike your bank account info, and you should be set
They aren't that expensive, there are haters in every aspect of life, it's just who you want to listen to. I am running AN and think they are well worth the money, i would like to try some of the additives they have. A lot of people get mad because of all the extras they have, but most are redundant and it's if you like the hoddiest level nutes or the expert class of nutes.
With that being said i am also switching over to a different line of chemicals.. JR

be carfully with the gravity. only use 1 ml to 1 gallon to start with. it can really fry your plants really quick. also use it by its self for 3 consecutive watering 3 weeks before harvest then start back to your regular feeding. Iv tryed both ways and when you apply it by its self it works miricles
