I really don't notice much of a difference. I'm using straight a n b and that's it and I like the results more actually. But give it a whirl. Ps ballast dude why the fuck would u even let him in. Anyone wants in my house they gotta get past the hounds.

Ps Badboys don't have a digi ballast if they are t5s. He's talkin e ballasts like lumatek or galaxy. Not a t5 they are self ballasted. The ballast is in the bulb usually the base.

I used Walmart General Plant Food, 20-20-20. It's great, buds were sticky, potent, and smelled dank as hell. It's my avatar but seriously it is some powerful stuff.

If I had to guess, you're using something not knowing what's in it, just falling for the never ending fraud coming from the likes of Advanced Shysters. That's what noobs do.

So some basic problems with this...
1-3-8 is really only good for the very final stage of harvest, but it's not even that good of a ratio. Mel Frank, if you don't know who he is look him up, cuts the flowering stage into three stages and suggests nutrients to delivered to your plant in the following manner:
Veg: 3-1-2
Early Bloom: 2-1-2
Mid Bloom: 1-1-2
Late Bloom: 0-1-2

Note how 1-3-8 doesn't really follow any of those guidelines. It will probably cause huge problems in veg to be 100% honest. Also, I thought AN boasted that they were an organic nute company. There are barely any organic elements to be found in that recipe. Not that it really means much. Your still providing your rhizosphere with nutrition either way, but if AN is willing to lie to you about being organic, what else could they be lying about? How about a product that is supposedly strain specific? I would guess so.

At least nute companies are starting to realize that a proper balance of N-P-K is much more important than just a shit ton of P, however, the micro nutrient deficiencies that you would get from using this crap make it not worth its while. It also has a bunch of amino acids just thrown in their that really serve little purpose aside from salt build up.

Mel Frank is one that I recommend often. I don't think he would recommend such a low N for flowering. Why would you want to induce premature leaf drop? Folks do it all the time and of course they pay for it in lower yields.

Guess I need to teach my plants to read LOL. There are no "stages". You give them whatever it takes to sustain green healthy leaves until harvest. It's just that simple although folks like to make it as complicated and confusing as can be, especially guys like Advanced Shysters.

When that stuff first came out I thought it would be funny if they started a full line of additives based on what genetics you're running.....

Some of the guys would have to buy the supplement "Mexican Brick"

Depends. For outdoors growing I use a slow release 18-5-9 with micros all the way through. Don't get sucked into the low N bloom foods. They do more harm than good as they induce premature leaf drop.
