FYI AN has been around for what, 5 years or so? jacks has been in business for over 40 years....and they are definitely not going anywhere. They don't need fancy bottles with ridiculous green faces in sunglasses on them called bud candy or bud blaster to be an extremely successful nutrient company.

Cold$moke can grow mate. But I agree Jacks or similar products are the way to go.

Sure you can grow with other companies. A grower I use to get off of would grow amazing buds with just about any brand. Some just caused him more headaches and more wasted cash than others. After I switched and him and I got together he was solidly impressed and was going to give it a shot. And he was an amazing grower, I'd simply say I'm good. Always room for improvement

I trim the buds all on the stems and dry as one complete stalk as you saw from pics. I don't like to dry them on a window screen or something because the big nugs tend to get flat on the bottom side from the weight

The only way Dry trim is fine is if you have a set of dry sift screens under you thn it's basically no different than you doing a nug bounce on the screens

I agree based on his responses he can grow and I haven't seen his nugs yet, but everyone here can grow if you just use common sense and learn to read your plants

Yeah I dry in a brown bag. Isn't my favorite means of drying but I can't hang dry due to space and odor control. Does the job, just need to rotate semi frequently and due to my space make sure they don't dry to quickly from low humidity.

I trim everything at harvest and off to zip lock bags in the freezer for bubble hash. Lots of work but it's worth it

Brown bag works very well to wick out the moisture, I find that hanging them right in my tent to work great so I haven't ventured into anything else. Yup I do the same...fresh frozen is the way to go, so tasty!

I might suggest to you the cardboard box method...run lines of string through the walls of the box making netting and then rest the stems with nugs on the strings. That way you don't have nug sitting all on top of each other and nice air flow all around the buds

I had thought about it, but there just isn't space in my closet foe that. I keep everything minus soil in the closet. All nice and contained

I wanted to cover all my bases and thought that having an organically based nutrient additive may just cover more nutrient "bases." resulting in overall happier plants! ;-)

I am using granulated rockwool as a medium and growing under a 1000w HPS. 10x Northern Lights, 10x Big Bud, 10x Hindu Kush, AND last but NOT least, 6x Purple Indica (personally bred strain).

Well maybe we should be debating full grow set ups then, lol seeing dry nug though it's hard to tell. A fresh nug shows true to me. Either way, no loss of naps ;)

In my experience leaving the leaves til it's almost dry helps to begin the cure while hanging. Makes for a faster yummy smell and taste my friend. Extra work definitely but worth it!!

Get a dry sift screen bro and you will be happy to find a nice pile of dry sift hash you can screen through after you do the dry trim!
