If you go to advancednutrients.com and go to the nutrient calculator on the top of the page. They have all recommended products for the different phases of grow and also you can adjust your resivor size to whatever you are watering with and it will tell you how much nutrients you need to add based on your res size.

isnt this calculator for hydroponics? and what means "reservoir size" ? the amount of water for 1 plant for one watering ?

It also lists soil. Do not worry so much about ppm. That calculator also lists the ml per liter etc. When I say resivour yea it's basically like your watering can. For instance I have a 3 gallon watering can I mix the nutes based off 3 gallons and just water until it's empty if I have more plants that need watering I just fill it up again and put more nutes in.

If you look at that calculator and select the productsyou are using you will also see "resivour size" by default it is set to 100 liters just change that to the size of your watering container and it will adjust the amount of nutes you need to add to that size waterer.

I would also advise that after every watering and every feeding you check the ph of your soil to make sure that you are still in that 6-6.5 range

For soil I would much rather go with jacks dynamic duo over advance nutrients all day. Imo AN is overrated, I give this though they do a real good job in advertisements. ;-)

I honestly prefer advanced over anything. You do not need to use anything additional other than the base nutrients if you don't want to. Everyone has an opinion...

I've used AN for years but then I found dynamic duo and I have not gone back since. And not only that but for the price you are paying for an nutes you would think one wojuld have monsters, I thoguht I did when using an but then I switched it to dynamic duo band I've been blown away since. Hands down dynamic duo over an, and I'm not the only one in riu that sees it ike that.

My advice when using AN's is to get a ppm or ec meter? Their calculator is WRONG and if you go by that you will end up fuckin your ladies up.

Im digging this post to add some more info.. after so many years, i googled about the subject and this thread appeared... I would like to add something that noone said in here...

THE NUTRIENT CALCULATOR IS BASED ON R.O Water!!!!

IF YOU DONT USE R.O WATER Use half dosages of the suggested nutrient calculator *Important Tip*
