ADVANCED NUTRIENTS AND 1000 watt GROW :leaf:

hey , ... i have 12, 1000 watt cool sun -8inch exhauste- reflectors ontop of 28 BEAUTIFUL plants, 4 blue dream.. 3 super lemon haze (2 time canabis cup winner) and the remaing 21 SAGE'n SOUR .... they are in 5gal buckets and fertilized with foxfarm OCEAN FOREST premium mix..... i have just started my 2nd week of flowering and already see buds! i am using BUD CANDY (AN), BIG BUD( AN) , IGUANA JUICE BLOOM(AN), ROOT STIMULANT (YELLOW BOTTLE LINE) , AND CAL MAG ... i will be using OVERDRIVE (AN) at the begining of my 5-6th weeks depending how fast everything is going.. i will also be adding OOZE (YELLOW BOTTLE BLOOM).........OOZE IS THE BEST SHIT ON THE MARKET....... your buds come out with 10x more resin and crystals ... i am maintianing ph between 6.3-6.5....

IF ANYONE HAS ANY COMMENTS PLEASE FEEL FREE , I WANT PEOPLE TO CRITIC ANYTHING PLEASE.... I WANT THIS TO BE A FUN THREAD

will add pics as soon as my lights turn on , my babies sleep from 8 AM - 8PM ... i do this because at night here in california, it gets alot colder so i use that cold air to an advantage and have my lights being cooled by the 50-60 degree temp outside much more effecient than having warmer air cool them.... thanks for the comment tho

hay marsellus sounds great! We are running 32 plants under 4 1000 watts. Other than a little power trouble things are going good.

Pics would be awesome! We too run ours 10 pm to 10 am so that cold air hits those lights. Its pretty amazing though a 725 cfm fan keeps all 4 cool to the touch.

We have been thinking about hopping on the AN craze and probably will next grow. Man I can't wait to see your yield!

we have 725 cfm's cooling 6 down to the touch!!! you really can tell a difference with those things... another thing you see a huge difference in is ADVANCED NUTRIENTS. i recomend the big bud and bud candy perferably more than all of them... the bud candy is a mix of there famouse carboload , and sweat leaf... it has tons of molasses to ensure girth in your nugs.. big bud does the same but gets them HUGE. and when i say HUGE i mean you can really tell the difference compared side by side with a plant that is on a different regime. thats how i came upon this i tried out several different high end brands and seem to have found THE ABSOLUTE best results with big bud and bud candy... non the less try it for youself . i can promise you the extra money you spend you gain a multitude back as results!!!..


BY THE WAY .... MY PLANTS ARE AT DAY 9 FLOWERING AND THE TALLEST ONE IS 4FOOT 2 INCHES!!!!!!! I CAN PROUDLY SAY IV GOT SOME HUGE ASS PLANTS .. hahaha

looks awesome man. We have looked at urban grower alot and like the hype they sell. I think its worth a shot and as soon as were out of metrop we will make the switch to the full AN system.

Day 9 that's amazing. We are at day 4 and are starting to see a little flowering. I will post up picks soon.

Your lights seem really high do they not adjust in height? If not do you think that effects your plants in their growth.

They look good but you want to keep those 1K's just 18 inches or so from the tops to prevent stretching during veg,you'll get much bushier compact plants that way.I would lower those aircooled pups to a couple feet above the tops at most.I use uncooled 1K vertizontals to flower with and I'm never above 24 inches or so,the closer the better heat withstanding

the thing is when you have 12,000 watts of light beaming down directly over the plants with only 2 feet inbewteen each light you get a SUPER INTENSE amount of lumens penetrating every inch possible throught the plant... the word of key is each 1000 watt light covers and area of 4x4 feet.. if you put that range between 2 feet and let the lumens from the other lights intertwine to hit the plants your really not going to need to put them down just because of that exact fact....... if you were using say 4 lights? you would need to put the lights 20-24 inches above the head of plants..., but with 12 x 1000 watts you can keep them at the level there at.... i would say there only like 3 feet above my plants

there just stationary lights that will stay there, one of my plants was 3 feet wide 3 feet tall when i switched to flowering!!!! i feel as if these are all urban myths people saying your plant will stretch during veg... i am here to show and tell you that with enough light , the right nutrients , and the perfect atmospher , youl get some KILLER BUDS

btw i got my plant 3ft by 3ft by adding this http://www.midwesthydroponics.com/browse-products/nutrients-and-supplements-1/yellow-bottle-agricultural-organics/bloom-prebloom-2-5-l.html what this does is it makes your plant not grow so high but instead grow wide , it makes new spots for nugs to grow and makes your plant SUPER BUSHY .. i would never grow without a shoot stimulant.... (aka the pre bloom YELLOW BOTTLE line))...

that's a very nice grow setup you got there, looks real clean and efficient. Have you pulled any harvests with this setup b4?

i havent this is my first grow in it ... a pain in the ass to build! but worth it... we had to put sheetrock on the roof to cover it ... dont no if u can really tel

can't tell but still a good idea. yea i have a pretty big gro going as well. not that big and about only half the lights but still a bitch to put together and when i get new equipment im reluctant to upgrade

Might just be the Sativa Genetics. Your plants are tall, but they are like 8" per internode also. A person can grow the same number of bud sites with much less height.

I'm tuned in though. What you have is pretty baller.

Snow Crash : you have to understand that you dont use all 12,000 watts during veg ... its way too much money for electricity and is not needed! .. i used 3k (3x1000watt) during veg , and kept them there for around 5 weeks...

honestly you have to flip plants when you notice signs of sex/pre flower nodes. this will let you take advanatage of the flowering proccess and speed up nug production just because you already have pre flowers

I'm just about to start my first indoor grow and was very happy to hear a positive confirmation with pictures about Advanced Nutrients. I have heard mixed reviews about AN and was starting to look at different companies when I came across this thread, thanks for clearing up any doubts I might have had.
The grow looks really nice, mind if I ask how much you're paying in electricity for those 12 1k's?

hasnt came in yet, im expecting anywhere between 2-3 thousand dollars... will let you know
