Okay so I'm looking for personal experience with soil growers who have used advanced nutrients, what nutrients and supplements would you recommend for the Advanced Nutrients line? I know that they are very expensive but I'm not looking for an alternative I'm just looking for experienced growers that used advanced nutrients in soil that could give me their personal experience and recommendation

One... I'm sorry but your thread is going to be hijacked by AN haters that have never used it. You might get some good answers but it will get buried by the trolls and flamers.

With that said..

Sensi A and B is a good base. If you had to sick with the AN line you could go with Big Bud as the bloom booster and you replace that with overdrive at the end. Those are added to your sensi A and B line.

That's a basic start. There are lots of other things you can do with possible different results based on your system. Like, if you have a problem with root rot in your grows then something like an enzyme would be helpful.

Does not have to be AN but if that's the case that that's a good basic start. I've used all of those and was not disappointed.

outside you might think of AN's heavy harvest. Brown Dirt Warrior likes it.

Right on man thanks for replying and actually having first hand experience. So sensi huh? I already have pirahnna for roots. I just need to piece together a good package of AN stuff.. i also want to maximize flavor and trichs what does best? It sounds like big bud is a must i will get that to add to the package. I will be doing soil i u didnt catch that
i do know about the trolls as i have continually noticed people offering no real
help to the threader for the sake of matching witts or smart ass comments. Some people just like to argue points even when they have no real experience,

Just to cut to the chase and help you along. The best thing for maximum trichs is a strain that is known for that. You can't make a doberman out of a hound dog with different dog foods.

To me, our job as growers is to make everything available to he plant so it can do it's thing the best it can. Bascilly we need to stay out of the way. lol

I've never gotten into piranha so you're mileage may vary. But yes, to me the first run with new genetics I keep it simple. Then build on experience with that plant by making small changes that need to be noticeable.

The basics are

Sensi A+B

Big Bud though flower until about the 5th week (if it's 8 weeks) then overdrive instead of big bud.

Keep your pH in check and in veg I like a humic acid. Any brand will work and in flower you might thing of a bat guano tea or something. This seems to add a little more flavor to the plants. Think of it as like seasoning to your steak.

Trinity by Roots Organics is cool
Diamond Black by general organics is cool
Floralicious bloom is nice also.

You don't need all of those or any really but pick one next run and see if you see a difference. Others might be able to add more to this.

Might want a Cal Mag or something like it also. Never hurts to have that running. I'm using CALiMAGic with good results.

My AN days are well behind me. I'm sure I can dig up something out of my backup drive. It was about 5 years ago with some Grandaddy Purple. But, I'm going though an argument with other members right now and I'm making a point by not posting images. My info stands on it's own merits. If I give someone directions on how to get to the highway, I'm either wrong or right it doesn't matter if I'm a good driver or not. If I'm wrong, prove it. BTW I love doing this. :) It's like letting someone think you don't know how to fight then knocking their teeth in after they've made a very large ass of themselves. :eyesmoke:
