Adding a 300 watt equivalent to a T-5 setup too much?

Hi. I am currently growing one plant under a 4 tube 2 foot t-5 setup. It doesn't seem tonged much light outside the 2 foot range even with Mylar walls. I want to add a cfl to one side where my original Top was before I LSTed her. Is that going to be too much? 105 watt output equivalent to 300 watts.

no way thats not too much. you can never have enough cfls.. well until heat becomes an issue, but besides that go nuts with that shit.

Add more lights! All things must be equal... light, nutes, co2, etc, etc.... With t5s I promise your not giving them too much light.

i would keep a larger cfl like that a little further from my plants than an inch or two..just use the hand test and if its too hot for your hand its too hot for your plants..im thinking like 4 inches maybe.
