ACMPR - wait times

They keep adding verification processes to slow it down like DR confirmation of dosage and land registry searches.

the part that tells me i don't wanna risk my future because i was to horny to grow before i got my license..lol believe me i want to.
people who really need the medication and whos future relies on it...cant wait...or should they have to or would they be found guilty in court for doing so

MMMYA
if you have pinks from MMAR you know how frivolous they are to own
... if ya don't understand that.
.you are not who you claim to be.

no shit but they have to know all sides eh :)

my position? lol @WHATFG
ANYONE who is sick in cannada who has a script from their GP can do as they please when MMJ is concerned! :)

you can take that one all the way to the Supreme court too ;)

@gb123, we get your position, mine is the same but for my particular situation. I'd grow regardless and will never register to grow a plant. But I'm also at a stage in my life and finances where I could handle the cost and hassles of a court fight. There were also times in my life where I wasn't in that position, had small kids totally dependent on me etc. and wouldn't have taken the chance growing indoor at my residence at least. Losing my freedom, or money for a cause I believe in, and specially now with "legalization" coming would not be a hardship and I'd welcome certain fights like the proposed 0 tolerance law on THC levels (may as weekly be 0 because anyone who'd even be around 2nd hand smoke will blow over!). But not everyone can be in that position, nor should they be encouraged or hassled to do so.

@GroErr don't think you are so different than others who have everything to lose ;)

My kids would not have a father today if I had listened to other peoples reasoning

people come here and pretend to use sickness as as n excuse to grow then they talk about making cash from it..I have no issue with either
but dont try and pretend to be something you're not. (not saying you are but others certainly are)

No they can't!!! If you were MMAR and moved your pinks are invalid, anyone who has more than their "script" allows is breaking the law...those peeps can't find docs...and who in the fuck wants to do that?

Are you guys aware of John Turmel, and the section 56 exemption application that many are using to force faster regristrations....It works BUT requires a Public disclosal of your acmpr grower status....

Well @ WHATFG..........as long as you have your GP and oncologist behind you...all's well! :)

break the law? Not even close @ WHATFG...court will see it as it is.
They are letting NON SICK PEOPLE GROW NOW...OH YES how we forget that fact..so why not a sick person ? People selling cannabis to the public are getting off as well...
rightly dont give a fuck what others think or say really. To each their own,
we all do what we gotta do..
well....... at least some of us do
..some of us just roll over and die..
because someone told them to

great ..lol this is just crazy, the MMAR system was much faster , i got mine then in 22 days.....
I finally wrote to my MP about this. But i got my paper before they responded. So in my reply i asked him instead to advise me on how to formally complain... because the license says right on it that it is required otherwise youre not legal (contradicting claims that the docs script is good enough in court), which means that technically i was suppossed to forgo my meds through the 7 months i was to wait (but i grew my meds anyway) That was deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court Allard decision...i think.

Anyway, even if i sent my renewal in the day i got the license ...the renewed licesne would be way late too...lol

It says "right on it" that it is a "registration certificate" not a license. Thanks for not encouraging them.

It's not a license because you don't need one if you have a prescription. You need to register according to them though.

I emailed HC and threatened to go down that road if I was expired much longer and they sent it a few days after, not sure if it was coincidence or not.

This is why I believe GB is right. I get why people wait. I did, wish I didn't. It says right on the registration certificate when it was submitted, when it was filed into the system and when it expires (a year from the date it was sent to them). Even if it went to court, I think you could save legal fees by pushing the trial until after receiving it. From there I can't see how it wouldn't be dropped.

Putting ‘medical’ in quotation marks and speculating about rec users ‘faking it’ just to avoid tax is casting aspersions.

And claiming the evidence base is purely anecdotal is simply incorrect.

They said they would address the expiration date beginning from the day your doctor signed the script and not when your registration was processed. Wonder how thats going?.....

so i'm just filling out this application and i have a few questions, maybe one of you can answer them?

if i'm living in a rented apartment, do i need to obtain the property owners consent to use it as a production facility? the way the question is worded, it says "if the proposed production site is my ordinary place of residence" to skip the site owners consent section

and for filling out the check boxes should i put an X or a check mark? the circles i've been filling in completely but i'm not sure about the boxes... heard they reject them for stupid reasons some times...

thanks guys

If you live there and get mail there then you don’t need anyone’s permission.
Be mindful that this is not your property so treat it with respect and don’t do anything to damage the apartment making all home growers look like butchers.
Skip all that section and you can also check no to the “starting materials:spew:

Hope it’s a short wait for the licence
Good luck
