Golden Tiger v3 thai dominant would be good money spent. 12-14 weeks but has great gentics.

Wait for specials, normally 420 and black fridays. Too bad their payment methods suck.
Bank transfer. (for UK +15€, for Canada + 20 €)

Better to get a reseller if living in N.America.

I’ve made a basket and haven’t yet pulled the trigger at SensibleSeeds. They are European based but they have what appears to be Ace Seeds 25 Feminized 3rd Gen Golden Tiger for $96Cnd

The malawi i grew was more fuel and spicy from Ace. Great smoke with insane resin. I would curse it when i was grinding it.

Golden Tiger v2 is my fav right now. It knocked out a friend after 3 hits.

Malawi x panama is my second best although bangi haze was a super all around strain.

Great looking bud. Nice work. GT v3, would enjoy a smoke report.

I’ll write up a better smoke report after another month curing. My testing so far at around 2 weeks cure was very nice. i prefer the 3rd version the Thai mai was more energetic fast happy, started researching stuff. Lasted about 1 hour not much gets me high that long.

The 2nd version oil citrus wood phenotype was more like trippy kinda zoned out for 10 mins. Lasted about a hour but had burn out feeling less clean, nice fast head high. some anxiety but nothing crazy. Both kinda hit you in the face fast.

Some phenos only gave me anxiety. Malawi leaning plant I posted gives me anxiety only when I’m not doing anything. Really potent energetic smoke.

I’ll be flower pressing my least favourite 3rd version. Golden tiger rosin should be fun.

Malawi crosses
Here are 6 x Malawi x Sensi Star original females.
They are in a 4ft x 4ft tent for now. Quite cramped in there. I'll move them into the flower hut next week.

I've had a couple of plants now that have produced this flower on the leaves.
2 x MalStar plants and 1 x MalBanner plant. Also a plant had it years ago had them.
Just one or two leaves on each plant.
20230610_183714.jpg

They are on Day 34 of 12 on 12 off.
The light is an hlg 550 rspec. Probably running around 350 watts, I haven't tested wattage with meter since turning it up from min of 220w The canopy is getting around 1000 ppfd.
I done 9 seeds total. I ended up with 3 males and these six females.
A couple of phenos. There's a tall one in back left.

I just cut down 5 x Malawi x Kingsbanner - MalBanners
10 weeks 12/12.

Enjoy

Got everyone planted yesterday in my tent. My Golden Tiger x Panama had me a bit worried as my original Runt has picked up some growth. So I had to as gently as I could, separate the 2 roots from each other. There was a lot of ripping of roots sound, but both looked alive today. So hopefully I’m in the clear and growth will continue, and labeled the runt with an R. Looking a bit light in colour, but expect to see improvements with them in their new homes.

No, no trippiness at all.
Yea I've read all the threads on it too.
Maybe if I grow the rest out I might touch lucky.
I was happy with the high tho.
Agree, ran three pheno’s. I even hopped in the excavator, had a beer and drove around for a while. Liars!!! hahahahaha.
Still worth growing for the strong high non the less.

I take this back!
The Malawi I did a while back has been sat in jars for over a year now. I thought I’d give it another try, seeing as ace recommends a long cure, it caught me off guard!!
Two of the three phenos were exactly the same, not all that.
However, the one that went 14.5 weeks had turned magical.

Rapid fired two bongs, one after the other and your eyes feel like they’re popping out your head, followed by an extreme soaring sensation, tight chest and then just leaves you blissfully wrecked and giggly for quite a while.

Felt like I was 14 again, have been smoking it all week, and two is still all I need.

Just needed that jar time…

I’ll stick away for another 6 months.

Here is one of the Malawi x Sensi Star originals seed plants - 'Malstar'
I've 6 in total
They are at 12 weeks of 12 on 12 off.
This pheno has a bit of foxtailing going on.

Falling all over the place.

Here's a Malawi male clone I've kept going for well over a year now, maybe longer.
Just a wee experiment to prove to myself it's possible lol
Not much to look at.
I keep it in the corner of veg area from autumn to spring then throw it outside in the spring time.

When it gets too big and unruly I just hack the shit out of it and keep it small.

Enjoy

I’m 3.5 weeks into flowering in my tent and they are growing nicely. Had gout in my right foot and had to leave the watering to my sister for like 10 days. So trying to get the health back in order, but they’re getting big. My runt Golden Tiger x Panama (bottom right) is the tallest plant in the tent now. So happy I kept her as she has a lovely sweat and rotten smell going on, but not much from her replacement (middle)
