Whats up Jessi. I was wondering if you had any pictures of your cured finished product?

I snapped a few photos of my Ace's right after the lights went off, I'm at the beginning of week 7 . The colors are definitely better when the lights are off.

The french fried plant in the first pucture is a GHS Super Silver Haze. It got too much nutrients :/ and it snuck in the picture :)

Hope you don't mind Jessi I just wanted post some visible pictures since the last ones were so bad.

Nice pics Spicoli! It looks like a bunch of the posts on this thread got deleted in the crash, glad to see some more pics back up here.

Here is a re-post of our Ace of Spades smoke report since it got deleted before:

Strain: Ace of Spades by TGA Subcool Seeds

Growth: Sturdy branches that were able to support the large bud formation she put out. Our from-seed and un-topped plant stretched (as expected) quite a bit in flower. She is not too bushy and is easy to train in veg. Our second topped plant had an average flower stretch with equally sturdy branches and stalks.

Nutes: We saw an early fade and felt like we needed to increase our nutes. She might not have liked this, and it seems our yields were affected. We would recommend a heavier feeding in the beginning with frequent flushes and a decrease in nutes quickly after the flower push.

Yield: We flowered out an un-topped plant from seed. This brought our yields down. We would recommend topping and heavier training in veg to increase yields. Despite our lower yields, the buds were nice and well formed and with proper growing methods, this strain should be a heavier producer than what we saw.

Bag Appeal: Dark purple that comes from the center of the buds and calyxs to blend with sea-green colors. All are shaded by an intense white resin covering with trichrome heads so large that they catch the light and sparkle like diamonds. No “popcorn” nugs on this plant. The buds are more round than cone shaped with minimal stems – all of which are coated in resin. We love the bud density. Easy to break up and roll into a joint without a grinder, and still perfect for a bowl; not a solid rock but still enough to go around.

Smell: Juicy!! One of those jars that you can’t put down and stop smelling. It makes my mouth water and reminds me of some succulent fruit that I have tasted but can’t quite put a name on. Familiar but exotic at the same time.

Taste: Berry/Cherry with a kick. The same as the smell, you can’t quite put a name on it but it is amazingly juicy and sweet. Like something from the garden of eden – a forbidden taste that we are all innately hardwired to love.

The High:
Long lasting and spacey. A relaxing feeling that calms the mind without losing motivation. Time fades away. This could be a one-hitter-quitter if you are only looking to calm down or feel better during the day. The more you smoke the more intense the high, but not much is needed before she starts to show you her effects. More Indica in the relaxed, loose feeling with a slight heavy eyelid but enough Sativa to keep you going and interested in working. This one won’t force you down, but it is calming enough to help with sleep.

Thanks for putting back Jessi :) I was waffling on AoS or another tga strain and your thread is one of the ones that put it over the top :) it's gonna be a battle for supremacy among the tga strains in my grow cab soon :)

Jesus those are getting frosty! Seeing this thread makes me want AoS very badly. Keep up the good work!
Seeing this makes me happy my AoS seeds are in the mail on the way to me (along with cheesequake and time wreck)!! Makes me sad I don't have room to grow them for a month or two.

Hey all nice spades ya got there I see a couple similar to mine. Through my search for the right ace I ran across a couple rares I guess you could call it out of ten I did five and five I had a variety of phenos. The one I found interesting well two actually were the phenos that seem to be hybrid equals one has bcs flower structure but without the bcs smell. It's acrid, smell like I've never smelled before. The other I've been calling odd ball aces has more jtr structure no support needed until week eight. Let go to 9 1/2 before chop. I found the buzzes of these to have that relaxing bcs like plush but with a nice head to it. I def feel if you have time to hunt for phenos, by the way that's my thing I love popping out seeds and finding the best. Sometimes it can take me quite a while as I'll keep four or five of the best for multiple runs slowly I decide traits I like from one to another and eventually I'll have one. Oh yea I forgot I also have one that's starts pinking at the end of week 2 and continues until harvest very bcs in flower coloring. I had gave this one to a friend he flowered it but I have the mother here at my garden. Any who nice stuff, some strong some relaxing just depends on your niche. If you pop the seeds a good one will rise for sure. Sorry no pics I need someone to actually show me how to upload as typing and checking my email is all a really know about computers. Sub does a good job period and is great to work with. Had a ordering prob and he honored his word to the fullest. I've popped seeds from a lot of top breeders but after all these different strains my majority is tga with Cali connection I like swerve too. I know there is dispute over swerves attitude but in my opinion it's what makes this corner of the medical industry interesting. Ying to yang aggressive to laid back. It what powers us to strive for greatness. People make the world go round. I almost forgot my reason for picking these types of phenos was to have something like plush but with a little energy to them. I did find them. Nice work sub yet another epic representation of what you can do!!!
