*AACT* Hey guys i brewed up a batch of tea, 1/2 cup worm castings, 1/2 cup alfalfa meal, 2tbs surger cane, 2.5gallon water. I let this brew for 24 hours now my question is can i just let this mix sit in the bucket untill i need to water again in 5 days?

no. use it now

also that sounds really heavy on the sugar cane and alfalfa...be careful. 1/2 cup alfalfa to 5 gallons can burn some strains...

I wouldn't use it...I would scale things back just like you been advised to, to maybe 1/4cup alfalfa and 1 tablespoon of Molasses.
And maybe start brewing the day before so you don't have it sitting around.
To keep it aerobic you'll need to continue to add EWC/compost and molasses as the days go..You'll also have to bubble it that whole time...
If you don't, the bennies in your tea won't reproduce any further, and I'm pretty sure your AACT will go anerobic.
If you pour a bad AACT on your soil, you'll know it within a few hours to a day max!

You need to use your AACT within the first 4 hours of brewing it.

:peace:

Ok thanks for you input, what does ewc mean? I just added all my ingrendents into a pantyshose and let it brew for 24hours this is ok correct? I have a air pump with air stone some foaming occered.

i think i use too much molasses.... anyway, more than 36 hours brew and you would need a microscope to know how much sugar to add, after 36 hours, bacteria are on the decline and the tea lose effectiveness. I am not sure of all this so someone may confirm. also 24 hours is mostly bacterial tea and 36 hours leaning towards fungi, is this information correct?

Look the thru soil thread in my sig! Everything you wanna know is there I swear!
And EWC are earth worm castings! Good for reproducing bacteria in the teas, which retain and deliver plant ready N to our girls.
And it's cool to put everything in a pantyhose, but it's not necessary.

Put a little work in as far as learning what you need to do and it'll take you a LONG way!
Every AACT is in my soil thread! Everything I could find to this point, and thought I should share..
Been a bit lazy with it lately but all you need is already there.

Good luck

Check out my sig bro! The last couple pages is loaded with AACT info.
But too much Molasses is a VERY bad thing! You can bring on all sorts of problems using it in excess, and I know bcuz I did it already lol!
It's more nutritious that it's passed off to be, and in a good AACT, there should be a diverse group of nutrients available in plant ready form.
As the microbes reproduce, the feed of the ingredient we add, retain a percentage of what it get, and than excrete the rest into the tea as a plant material, which is not in the same form as it was when you put it in there.
I'm sure some of the microbes solubilize different parts from the Molasses as well. There S,P, & K in numbers, amongst other things.

And you either end of with a bacterial or fungally dominate tea based on what you put in it. Not the brew time.
Everything I'm telling you is in my soil thread bro.
I haven't figured it all out totally yet, but I've got the gist for the most part! Takes some time bud the smoke is SOOO damn good from Organic soil man! PURE white ashes. SUPER SMOOTH! :joint:
