I woke up to find that I had my lights way to close to my plants than I should have, I am using 23W CFLs and i woke up to one of my plants looking wilted-like and the other with a brownish leaf from the light (it drooped down to low, the problem is now fixed). Anyways, if anyone could tell me if these plants look healthy enough to keep alive your input would be great.

When I woke up they were fairly close, damn near touching.... ( I was using duct tape, I know stupid...) to hold up the power strip. I now have a bracket in place.... The duct tape lost some adhesive and stated drooping on the plants and i previously had 3. the one that isnt posted was completely engulfed in the light and was completely shriviled up and dead when i woke up...I felt so bad for my ignorance. Its my first grow so I am hoping that at least one of my plants makes it.

oh well, lesson learnt...never cheap out on electrical safety, for both you and your plants

at least you still have 2 plants to continue with...best of luck

Thanks, ill try to keep up to date..What should I do with the leaf? just leave it? Tear off the brown part?
just leave the leaves on as they are still alive and will continue to grow, they will just be a bit ugly with a nasty looking scar

They will be fine, believe it or not cannabis is quite resilient. I had a mother plant that nearly same thing happen, I was gone for 2 days and did not anticipate the growth surge it had. Grew right into a 125w bulb, burnt the hell out of 2 leaves. Those leaves are still on there and that was about 4 months ago, the will be cut off with the rest of the clones in the next week. (8 month old mother GSC BCBD).
