ACCIDENTALLY CUT A PLANT EARLY. HOW TO MAKE IT CONTINUE? PLEASE HELP! Too Important!!

So I accidentally cut (broke) a plant before it matured. It was a breeding project I was doing and seeds are not fully mature yet and I need all those seeds mature or I'll need to search my country for at least 10 more years to find a plant like this. Plant is close to maturing but it actually needs around 2 more weeks for all seeds to be mature. Now it has probably 4-5 mature seeds in 50+ seeds it has... What can I do to make this plant continue it's cycle? Put it's root in a glass full of water, put it to rockwool with cloning stuff(I'm not familiar with these, I only grow from seed)? Will it still be ok even if it's close to ending it's cycle(not in veg I mean)? Will this damage seeds meaning I should just dry it and take that 4-5 seed? Now the part that I broke the plant is sitting in water, waiting for your responses. I need help in 2-3 hours before shop closes where I can buy stuff like rockwool, rooting gel etc.

Please help.

Note to mods: Sorry for title in caps, sorry for bumps I'll be making to this thread. You can delete or lock it if it's against rules, but please wait 3-4 hours so maybe some friends here can help me solve my problem.

if you can see 4-5 fully mature seeds there is probably more than youve noticed
and even some of the immature seeds may sprout if you baby them enough

Keep it alive however you can. I use a piece of flat wood like a popsicle stick, or piece of wire from a coat hangar as a splint. You can use electrical tape to hold the splint. Also, place a stake in the ground leading up to the break, and tie the plant or limb to that so that it is supported better.

Thanks for your replies.

@tekdc911: Yeah probably more than 4-5, but not more than 10 out of 50+ seeds. I need at least 30 or so for my project to complete.

@Prodigal Sun: This is an autoflowering strain with a really thin main stem. Do you think it'll still work to tie them together like that? Also, because stem is thin, it looks like somebody cut it with scissors other than it broke. I'll go and buy some rooting hormone but do you think putting hormone and tying them is better than just hormone + sticking it to rockwool?

I'm going out to buy rooting hormone also rockwool just in case before shop closes. Please advise me about sticking the broken parts of root and stem together or putting plant to rockwool. Please keep in mind that stem is too thin, I fear that it won't live if I stick them together with popsickle stick.

I did an early harvest, most of the seeds were mature but most were still undeveloped. I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty sure the seeds mature after you cut the plant and let it dry out, the seeds must suck the rest of the shit out of the nugs and keep growing, because I have over 100+ seeds all developed, they weren't all developed when I chopped the plant down, most of them were still liquidity

I got a soil version of rockwool with vitamins and stuff in it, soaked it with water(rooting hormone added to water by half the recomended dose), also applied rooting gel to where the stem broke. I'm planning to sit it there for 1 week or more and then harvest. Let's see what will happen. Thanks for helping.

The hormone is unnecessary, but it helps. What you want, is a good contact between the pieces, make sure you get them together quickly, and do not let them dry out. Most will heal, but it takes a week or two of TLC, and the healed spot will end up stronger than the rest of the plant.

Relax a little.
