Accidentally broke top off auto at 6 weeks as budding was beginning. Am I screwed?

I accidentally snapped the top main cola, which has been tied down significantly and trained to grow with several side branches as a ton of "main colas". If this were a photo plant I would simply clone the top and move on with my day. However I have been told autos will not respond well to topping, and I know doing so on photos during flower will significantly affect growth and yield. I held it branch back together snd taped it in an effort to save it somehow. Any advice would be appreciated.
