ac or fresh outside air

fresh air is free, if you can run a room with no ac and keep plants comfortable,well, that is a no brainer.

Fresh air is always good if your area isn't too cold or hot. You should filter the air well though, besides bugs and crap, airborne spores like Powdery Mildew can enter freely and take over your room in no time. Been there, done that, my area is covered in PM outside and I ended up culling everything to get rid of it. Never brought outside air into the room again, just exhaust outdoor now.
